Where I live Chinese are not yet as prevalent as in your California so I still see mostly ‘White’ people doing it here though we have many California refugees...or perhaps they are local people who returned from their ‘California dream.’
Before Covid I would see Asians wearing masks during allergy season or when there was a lot of blowing dust.
I never left my pre-pandemic life.
Exactly right.
From the Land of Peasant Living.
The “powers that be” sure like to “mask” and manipulate crises every -x- amount of years...
I went to the linked article and then went to the Kaiser Poll site: The most interesting and distressing takeaway is that the vaccinated are some of the most fearful (ie, pro mandatory masking of EVERYONE).
Obviously the jab offers little or no psychological protection.
I never stopped living my life during all the societal stupidity of the last few years. I always avoided idiots so nothing really changed for me.
Texas hasn’t had mask, or most any other mandates, for a year....many weren’t participating, even before that.....yet....I STILL see scare-dy cats wearing their masks at the grocery store, or....even while walking, or driving, by themselves.
🙃
Wait til they find out/come to accept that they’re the most vulnerable....for ALL viruses, with their compromised immune systems. :-(
My life is dramatically better. I work from home in a higher paying job, I’ve whittled my social circles down to mostly like minded conservatives and “true” friends — my husband and I are closer than ever, and I’ve stayed healthier than ever before not constantly exposing myself to URI’s.
Other than the COVID 30 lbs I’ve gained, life has been great. A little weird here and there, but great. We never stopped flying, going out, going to restaurants ...we just used common sense and stayed out of the fray.
Because anti-human POS’s like CNN keep spreading fear and telling people they’re going to die if they don’t wear a diaper on their face.
A Pinochet ride for them all.
Same here. But, I’m in Montana.
I never left my pre-pandemic life. Others did!
I see the force is strong amongst the Branch Covidians.
I’ll still wear one when I mow the yard. Been doing that for years anyway.
We were back mid April 2020.
Sometimes said idiots have the windows up, sometimes they're down.
Idiots gonna idiot I suppose.
My business is slowly recovering. Actually my customers are slowly recovering. But since we live in a state that had the most strict lock downs that nearly destroyed all of us no one wants to expand to pre lockdown days because it can happen again at the stroke of a pen.
I agree. I've had my eyes open and disabused myself of a lot of unreasonable expectations. No longer wasting time and life energy dealing with mentally defective people.
Here in North Idaho, it hardly ever deviated from normal.
Today, you almost never see a mask anywhere. We just got back from a delightful evening out with friends at a local pizza restaurant and you’d be hard-pressed to find any sign that anything abnormal ever occurred. Not a single mask in sight and the place was packed.
But I did see an Asian family of four in downtown Coeur d’Alene the other day all masked up.
