I’m working in the office every day. I make my people (most people) work 3-4 days in the office. Engineers doing engineering. I have a few that are efficient on telework but most hide. I’m waiting for courts to decide if I have a job. If they fire me due to vax request for exemption. If they fire me then I will have to take a pay raise. I like my job. So oh well. We will see.
COVID is BS. I had it for 4 days. Odd symptoms but natural immunity don’t count. Vax or fired until courts decide.
I saw a very American white woman wearing a mask alone in her car today as I was pulling away from the grocery store. Mid 40s from the little I saw of her. Not at health risk for sure. In small town Indiana. I thought this was over around here. For a year to to the day.
I seriously don’t get it, other than they are mind-numbed robots at this point.

A lib friend of mine told me wearing a mask is a political statement.

Same here, other than sporadically having to put on a face diaper to go in some store. The FAA stupitiy to fly was the worse, no way to avoid it.
I just had to turn down a large project at a Federal facility due to them requiring vaccines for anyone working at the site (it was all outside work too!). I wonder if those requirements will ever be lifted?
It is so stupid too. Even the CDC now admits that vaxxed people can get covid, and they can transmit covid. So the only point of requiring the vax is control.

It is for some, but not everyone.
I have a family member who is still afraid, and she’s pretty conservative. She is doubly vaxxed, boostered, and yet wears her masks when she goes shopping or to church.
She is so frightened, and I can’t get her over her fear. Believe me, I’ve tried. She doesn’t understand that they’ve been lying to her about masks and shots and the whole darn thing.
She gets that they lie about everything else, but for some reason she thinks they’re telling her the truth on this.
Well the press still plays it up.
