President Joe Biden spoke at a trucking event at the White House on Monday, using the occasion to revise a story about when he “used to drive a truck.”
“I used to drive a truck,” he said in a speech on trucking outside the White House with two Mack trucks behind him. “It’s a long story. Anyway.”

We can ‘thank’ the Clintons for all of this lying.
Politicians have always lied, but it never became so brazen as with the Clintons. They would say anything they thought would serve them, even when it could easily be proved false.

Obviously talking about his Tonka toy truck days where he made the “vroom -vroom” sound and pushed it around the room. He’s reliving vicariously through his childhood days.

When did he have time to drive a truck? He’s been in D.C. since Hoover was president.

Actually he may be right on this. In the days before CDL'S and even picture drivers licenses when they began all the changes circa 1975 to 1984, you could be grandfathered in as a class B driver by just checking a box on your renewal. I think it was anything up to like 20,000 pounds, including trailers. That didn't mean you drove tractor trailers though. It meant large box trucks and dual axle trailers requiring brakes. For me it was eight head horse trailers and livestock trailers.
In around 1994 or 1995 you had to do a CDL to get the same level of endorsement, grandfathered or not. So I let mine expire.

Someone should ask what years did Brandon have a truck drivers license. Has been in office for 50 years an he is now 79....so he was truck driving for a few years up to age 29.
So he did that while in college....
And from a rich "old money" family
Maybe he co-drove with CornPop
Doesn't pass the smell test.

There’s a speed zone ahead, but alright
I don’t see a cop in sight
Six days on the road and I’m gonna make it home tonight.

I saw a big truck being driven once. In fact, I saw one today also. Does that count as having driven a big truck?

I had one of those. I got my CDL to drive full size coach buses. I t try rat drive using a dodge van.
For my current job, I frequently tow a 7000 lb trailer. I need the Ned card, logs and all the other stuff. I need to renew my CDL just for kicks
