On Friday, on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” Vice President Kamala Harris said that President Joe Biden’s SCOTUS nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson “cut through the political gamesmanship” of Republican senators during her confirmation hearings.
Anchor Joy Reid said, “We sat and watched the Ketanji Brown Jackson hearings in which she very calmly sat through what I think a lot of particularly black women, let’s be honest, felt was brazen disrespect from senators like Lindsey Graham, Tom Cotton, Senators like Josh Hawley. What did you think when you watched that hearing?”

Exactly on point - any honest person who has spent time in a large corporate or institutional environment over the last few decades should not even break a sweat to think of multiple examples of similarly-situated persons who arrived in their well-paid sinecure by riding on their sex or melanin content. Normal qualifications like intelligence, demonstrated job skill, quantifiable achievements, etc. aren’t necessary.
Is Hunter being kept away from Kamala?
Race used as a protective shield against legitimate questions based on legitimate concerns. Feeble, but predictable.
They’re lucky they weren’t treated like a white man. Black privilege is to demand easier consideration because it’s whiteys fault their not capable of functioning in the real world.
They are both progressive liberals. Both racist blacks just from their casual demeanor. Neither should have a voice of any authority in this country.
