President Joe Biden’s 40-year-high inflation will cost American households on average an extra $5,200 in 2022, or $433 per month, according to Bloomberg.
Though the publication claimed the expense of costly inflation could be mitigated by wage growth, wages have not been keeping up with inflation, allowing inflation to rip through the pocketbooks of American workers:

I personally know people that I argued with during the Trump term. They were otherwise traditional White generally Republican voters who became uppity and said the tweets were beneath them so they would vote for the Dem. How I wish I could literally rub their noses in his poopy pants.

always remember that as inflation goes up, any “money” you have is rapidly depreciating, while your assets are going up along with inflation.
Inflation hurts the savers the most.
Keep your saving invested somewhere (real estate, stocks, whatever) and those assets will inflate along with everything else.
Mail order presidents do tend to screw over the population a lot.

Is that $5,200 inflation adjusted? It’s beyond that already. The devaluing of the money started under Trump when the government sent money to the folks so they would love the government. Businesses were shut down on orders from mostly democrat administrations. Millions thrown out of work.
biden continued the policy and had more money sent to the folks. Money with no backing. Money that was created out of nowhere. biden went wild spending money, and hasn’t stopped and shows no signs of stopping. He made us energy dependent after Trump had made us energy independent.
Inflation is theft. It renders savings worthless. It steals value from savings and gives it out in the form of government largess. But those who can no longer work depend on their savings. As they spin down the drain, their value is lost forever to those who created the value.
The ultimate goal of the leftists is to have the government in possession of all of the means of production, and to dole out meager amounts of money to the folks — just enough so they remain dependent on government. Meanwhile the ruling party elite is protected from the devaluation of the currency.

On the bright side, if he’d governed as a moderate, keeping many Trump-era policies in place, we’d never get rid of him or win back control of Congress. At least now there is a chance and if it doesn’t happen at least we’ll know we’re completely screwed.
