On Thursday, Biden was asked if the U.S. would respond if Russia were to use chemical weapons as part of its invasion of Ukraine. Biden said that such a move by the Russians would “trigger a response in kind.”

This isn’t a whole lot less threatening to Putin. Instead of Biden threatening action, here we have a UK minister urging the Russian people to overthrow him.
Now the U S had some success in the 50s carrying out what seemed to be popular oustings of leaders we did not like. Of course these were third rate nations and we haven’t had much success since. But given our history with places like Iran and Guatemala if a move was made to oust Putin and failed or even discovered before implementation, would he not consider it an act of war. I think Western leaders starting with Biden should just shut up.
But but who would Biden get to do our nukes talks with Iran with billions in cash on the line it looks like the team isn’t going to be split.
