Dershowitz: Jackson unprepared for Senate confirmation hearing 'Previous nominee Amy Coney Barrett knew her cases cold'

Longtime liberal and legal expert Alan Dershowitz, also a Harvard scholar, has concluded that Ketanji Jackson, Joe Biden's nominee to the Supreme Court based on her qualifications of being black and a woman, was unprepared for her Senate confirmation hearing this week.

Responding to questions, Jackson stumbled several times over issues that are key to some of the biggest issues in the nation right now.

In an interview on "Just the News, Not Noise," Dershowitz said, "She wasn't as well prepared, for example, as the previous nominee Amy Coney Barrett, who knew her cases cold."

He said he has concerns, too, about her record on free speech.

He told the podcast interview that he interacted with Jackson once when she was leading protests against other students' choices of flags as part of Harvard's Black Students Association in 1991.

He explained one student with Virginia ancestry had displayed a Confederate flag outside her dorm window. In response, another student posted a Nazi flag.

What a little racist dersh is huh? Butt, the article does say "Longtime liberal" and, deep down inside, all of them are racists. Keeping 'them' on the plantation is their goal. Some escape and when they do are vilified as often and as much as possible. Anyway, barrett knowing her cases means she knew her cases. Kadisha no knowing means she was probably coached to give vague generalized answers that won't come back to bite her later. Not that it will matter once she's confirmed. "Is it raining? IDK I'm not a meterologist!"

Ain’t affirmative action grand?

Cause Amy had white privilege and was trained with the idea that a lawyer should understand the key cases that our law depends upon, not just for precedent, but for how to argue a case. Judge Jackson was never taught that at Harvard by Dershowitz and his colleagues.

Knowing your cases is racist.

She’s black, she’s a woman, and she’s a radical leftist.

Who cares if she’s dumb? Just shut up and confirm her.

If they put that woman on the Supreme Court, all hell is going to break loose. Out of vindictiveness, she’ll see that it does. Watch.

We were all impressed with ACB until she actually started ruling. Now, not so much.

KBJ will be worse than we anticipate and will be confirmed unless God intervenes.

What Dersh refuses to realize is that what he was seeing WAS her level of preparedness. (Unless you want to argue she was blowing it off, which I don’t believe.) Exercising ‘Affirmative Action’ gets Peter Principal results; people in slots they aren’t competent to be in.

Except for the not black enough Thomas all of the recent key cases were written by people with white privilege.

With little knowledge of the law myself Sen. Kennedy made it relatively easy to follow the linguistic gymnastics he applied in poking holes thru Jackson’s lack of knowledge of the law and Constitution.

She dipped, evaded, and everything else in the thesauras to provide answers .

Her knowledge of state & federal prosecutorial law was what she came to the table with and that was all, including the admission of having no judicial philosophy.

A empty vessel.

What do folks expect from an affirmative action candidate chosen for skin color, not skills and experience.

What Dersh refuses to realize is that what he was seeing WAS her level of preparedness.

YES! She is the Affirmative Action nominee. They talk about her qualifications; but, I know that the schools she went to were going to pass her with honors no matter what the quality of her output.

She BELIEV3D she didn’t need to be prepared.

She was, of course, incorrect.

“Unprepared” is the wrong word. “Incompetent” would be better. That’s the difference between quota and non-quota appointees. Clarence Thomas came of age before racial quotas in the Ivies. That’s why he can hold his own - he earned his spot the old-fashioned way, through exceptional raw talent coupled with endless hours of preparation.

She knew she wouldn’t need to be prepared.

In this radical age of race and gender politics, it is unthinkable that she would not be confirmed, especially now that 51 votes are all that's needed. She will get all 50 Democrats and perhaps four or five (or even more) Assistant Democrats. I wouldn't be shocked if she gets 60 or more votes.
