Sen. Sasse Calls Out ‘Jackassery’ in Senate Moments After Cruz Questioned Ketanji Brown Jackson

Senator Ben. Sasse (R-NE) called out the “jackassery” in the Senate moments after Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) questioned President Joe Biden’s U.S. Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson, about her soft sentences for child sex offenders.

Sasse spoke about why cameras should not be allowed in the Supreme Court when he noted that “the jackassery we often see around [the U.S. Senate] is partly because of people looking for short term camera opportunities.”

Sasse has no core principles other than getting elected. If he had core principles, he would vote down Jackson Brown for her far left disregard of the law in favor of legislating from the bench. But since she is a black woman, he does not have to courage to vote her down.

I assume you’re referring to Lindsey Graham. He was great today, and in fact yesterday as well.

Graham is inconsistent…great one day, awful the next. So praise him when he’s good and criticize him when he’s bad. But don’t shoot him down when he’s good just because you’re angry about when he was bad.

He’s doing a good job on this one. That could change overnight, knowing Graham, but still, he’s been effective in questioning this utter nitwit that Biden has put before us.

BTW, if she can’t even define what a woman is, can Biden really be sure he’s appointing one???
