Collapse: The Ukrainians lost 3 stronghold cities in Donbass - A time of crisis for thousands of soldiers!

Today could be a milestone day as the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost three major strongholds in the Donbass region and all indications are that the area is beginning to be completely handed over to the Russian Army.

See below in the maps how the situation in the region is developing, which is now very critical and irreversible for the Ukrainian Army.

The Ukrainians lost 3 cities

Russian forces occupy the city of Chuhuiv near Kharkov, the Americans have confirmed that the Ukrainians have lost the city of Izuym, something that has been revealed by WarNews247 for days. Finally, the Ukrainian Army lost the city of Rubizhne.

The city of Rubezhnoe is one of the three cities in Donbass that was the backbone of Ukraine's defense. The loss is a huge blow... The town of Chuguyev is located in southeastern Kharkiv along a major highway. It is a strategic point that connects the Russian forces in Kharkov with the forces in Donbas.

Note here that there is unconfirmed information that the Russian Army is also controlling the city of Marinka with the Ukrainian forces having retreated towards Uglyadar.

The Americans note about the city of Izyum that "it is a stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and now the danger of their encirclement is visible".

Trusting in western MSM for full coverage- not. This site is packed with maps, videos, etc…..Ukraine is losing badly, no aircraft, no artillery, begging for no fly zones, arms, ammo and men,…Do be aware propaganda from both black hats is huge. Both sides deserve NO support.

I remember when pro-Russian forces were on here two days into the war claiming Russia controlled Sumy and Chernihiv.

Three weeks later those cities are still free. Will wait to see if this news is similar nonsense.

A key to the conflict, when the Ukies lose entirely the Donbass Independence provinces, they fall back to the Dniepner…..bet Zelensky will decide the Russian Separatist provinces are not worth keeping, the last stumbling block to negotiations…..why keep two ethnic Russian provinces that have declared their independence? Ditch them.

Clearly this has not been the cakewalk the Russians ordered. No one can deny that Russian logistical failures and Ukrainian resistance have made a serious fight of it. But in the end, brute force will overcome gallantry. The eventual settlement of this war will see the breakaway provinces become Russian controlled territory, and Ukraine politically neutralized. Both side will declare victory.

It is reasonable to wait for confirmation for sure—time will tell if it is propaganda or fact.

With help from Chechen Islamists... Tells us a lot about the caliber of Russian “allies” - the very same Muslim extremist terrorists Russia was gassing out of theaters a couple of decades ago - are now allies...

The Russians fight wars of mutual attrition. They don’t have the men to toss that they used to have, but they have more than Ukraine. Their victory is inevitable. The question is whether it will be pyrrhic.

Russia is bigger and makes ammunition and tanks and armored vehicles and planes.

This must be fake news! I was told by CNN there are piles of dead Russian soldiers visible from space. MSNBC said it was soooo bad the Russians needed mobile crematoriums to burn ALL their dead! /s

If this is true, maybe Ukraine should think about a deal while they still have some leverage.

At least the Russian war plan (so far) does not involve the US, whereas Zelensky’s whole plan was to draw the US into his own disaster.

And you can't imagine a Universe where both statements are true?

This is four days old.

The Russians penetrated into southern Izium, but the Ukrainians recaptured that part of the city. Ukrainians repelled another Russian attack in southern Izium and still hold in the southern half of the city. The Russian 144th MRD was ambushed and lost several more pieces of equipment in the attempt.

As to Rubizhne, a bitter battle was waged there and parts of the city occupied by elements of the Russian 3rd MRD. But on the 19th the 3rd MRD was expelled by the Ukrainians from both Rubizhne and Popasna, and the Ukrainians have been able to reestablish their line of defense to the northwest and southeast.

While from Kyiv to Kharkiv it’s been relatively static as the Russians try to resupply and recompose their forces, in the area from Izium to Severodonetsk there have been battles and the situation is not static from four days ago.

If it was me, I wouldn’t be wasting much men and resources defending the breakaway areas.
