I have had personal dealings and exchanges with Goldberg.
He showed himself to be ignorant and arrogant.
When showed irrefutable facts that countered his positions, he would turn violent and insulting.

Sadly, he wasn’t much different than other media types I’ve met.

“Damage he’s done to the party”, like that’s a bad thing. We send representatives to DC to promote our interests, but instead they vote straight party line.

“Trump, after all, is why Biden is president.”

I think that no matter who the GOP fielded in 2016, we would have had a similar result. The Democrats have adopted a strategy, that when they are out of power they simply will be ungovernable. We saw what I consider to the the beta test of this in NC from 2012 to 2016. There was nothing Gov McCrory could say or do that would not elicit screams and howls from the left. There were protest a least once a week, sometimes more. Why? They didn’t need a reason. They were just against McCrory. If the GOP takes Congress, like many think they will, I believe the protests and riots will start up again. We shall see.

So if you had a choice between twelve gold bars and 8 gold bars you’d choose 8, right?

Great response. Now who can argue with that?

He is the only one who tried to stop the illegal alien inundation that the rest have been encouraging.

All the dragons that Trump45/47 set out to slay aren’t yet slain. He needs another four years to finish the job (and another four, if it takes that long).

“And yes, I’m thinking of the love and affection some Republicans still have for Donald Trump, despite all the harm he has done to them and the party.”

Would it be asking too much of him to reel off, quickly, the things that Trump has done to harm the country?

They never do. We are supposed to just accept the assertion as proof stated, case closed.

And, by the way, would it be asking too much of him to reel off, quickly, all the thing the befuddled fool in the White House has done to help the country?

In fact, I will be satisfied with just ONE.

"Because Trump POLICIES worked and he is NOT from the SWAMP.
Hopefully he will better vet his advisors this time.
"

IMHO, Trump did everything just about right as President, but he made one colossal mistake that cost him the presidency. He didn't know how to respond to the Covid-19 challenge. He listened to "DOCTOR I AM SCIENCE" and, from recent statements, he still doesn't realize he made a mistake.

If Trump has an answer for his political sponsorship for the disastrous mRNA jabs, I would listen. But at this point, he seems to be doubling down.

Desantis would be untainted by Operation Warp Speed, and by then we may really see some bodies piling up.

What do you mean by that?

A lot more people may have died by the 2024 primaries due to the mRNA jabs.

What do you suppose will be Trump’s answer to these deaths?

I get why he thought Operation Warp Speed was a good idea at the time. But it was a political, medical, and social catastrophe, and he’ll have to answer for his role in it.

I’ll still vote for him as the nominee, but I would choose Desantis instead, if there’s a choice in the primary.
