Why is it so hard for morons to realize that one issue has absolutely nothing to do with the other? It is entirely possible to be both in favor of helping Ukraine and strengthening our own Southern border. The problem is that the Democrats had absolutely zero interest in securing the border before Russia invaded Ukraine, and that wasn't going to change. The only shot we have at getting border security is winning the next couple of national elections, and that is true regardless of what happens in Ukraine.

In fact even today you have Kaliningrad that is not even under threat from the two NATO countries that surround it. So much so that Putin has withdrawn missiles and troops from there to augment his failed mission in Ukraine

In fact a part of Russia - Kaliningrad - now is surrounded by NATO countries yet Putin withdrew missiles and troops from there knowing fully that NATO would not threaten it in any way.
