A couple who stayed at a Pennsylvania Target overnight for their YouTube channel is now facing up to seven years in prison for the prank.
Police said the YouTube couple, 24-year-old Charlotte Fischer, and 25-year-old Johnson Larose — dubbed "Saucy and Honey"— were arrested and charged with conspiracy and third-degree criminal trespassing
they did not take any merchandise from the store

What’s that saying? Play stupid games win stupid prizes? Guess they believe it now.
I imagine this will get plea-bargained down to some sort of misdemeanor, hopefully with a hefty fine.

Felony burglary.
A fine but not criminal charges? Like a speeding ticket for trespassing? Anyway, 7 years is the maximum penalty. Ignorance of the law is no excuse, but intent does play a role in deciding punishment. They’ll likely get a suspended sentence with probation.

Put them in the stocks with tier butts toward the passerby’s with a spank me sign on a stand beside them for a day.
If they had been smart, they would’ve picked up some big screen TVs and headed for the door when caught. No one would’ve stop them at that point.

I hope the judge takes the time to see the video and see how they were laughing at the Target employees not coming to work early. One wonders exactly what either of these two are qualified for in terms of working instead of out there doing stuff like this and trying to monetize an income from it off YT.
Stupid is as stupid does. Not sure it deserves prison, though.
Take away their internet access. It’ll be almost like a death sentence. Are you alive if you aren’t being “liked” or “retweeted” or whatever?
And there’s why they should get a stiff sentence. Social media REWARDS idiots who do stupid stuff like this. That has to stop. Tik Tok and all the others are inducing battalions of copycats. Tide pods, for example.
