On top of everything else, now a highly pathogenic avian influenza pandemic is ripping across the United States, and it has already resulted in the deaths of almost 2.8 million birds. Most of the birds that have died have been chickens or turkeys.

With new outbreaks in Iowa and Missouri, nearly 2.8 million birds — almost entirely chickens and turkeys — have died in one month due to highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), the Agriculture Department said on Monday.

Since 1997, bird flu has had about a 50 percent death rate in humans.

All coops must be 6 feet from each other. All that refuse the vaccine will be auctioned off to Chic Filet.

"Did they ever figure out what was killing birds last summer? We were told to quit feeding the birds for 2 months or more. It perplexed me because Robins are ground feeders, but they were still succumbing, supposedly. So it wasn’t something AT the feeders."

This. They were eating zombie cicadas.

Big deal, not. More fear porn.

Every year hundreds of thousands, if not millions of chickens and turkeys are euthanized due to bird flu. It is very common.

To wit, in 2015 the Iowa Department of Agriculture euthanized 29 million birds due to bird flu.

It’s an annual occurrence and very common when you crowd millions of birds into a contained space full of bird sh!t.

“ Is this a deliberately introduced virus by China?”

Based on what we (many anyway, not all for sure) are learning in Ukraine, it could be the swamp critters in the US doing the attacking.

Well, if we can’t eat chicken, we’ll just have to eat beef.

Uh oh, who can afford beef these days? Especially after filling the car gasoline tank.

Great. We eat a lot of chicken because it’s cheap. Guess it won’t be for much longer.

In 2015, 50 million birds died due to HPAI, according to a USDA study

As of March 8, 2022, about 2.8 million birds have died

Is this possibly related to Bill Gates?

Or might this be a fallback to the preferred smallpox attack, since Russia’s attack on the Ukraine got in the way of it?

I’m confused by this story. Are the birds dying from this infection, or are they being destroyed because they aren’t useful for food anymore because of the infection?

The spread of disease is associated with the loss of wealth that is resulting from the dismantling of the fossil fuel industry by the lunatics. Farm yields due to expensive scarce fertilizer, hygienic agricultural practices and sanitary transport all suffer from these lunatic policies. Food shortages, famine and desperate wars will result from lunatic policies.

I remember when all chicken growers had to worry about was PPLO and Air-sac.

Oh, and also being shafted by the hatchery owner who also processed the chickens, and also owned the bank the grower got his loans from to build his chicken houses.

Pay off your loan and suddenly you needed to “upgrade” the chicken houses, which meant you had to borrow more money from the Hatchery owner’s bank.
