Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky lashed NATO on Friday for ruling out a no-fly zone over his country saying the Western military alliance knew further Russian aggression was likely.
Earlier Friday, NATO rejected Ukraine’s request to impose a no-fly zone to halt Russia’s bombing, but Western allies did warn President Vladimir Putin of fresh sanctions if he does not stop the war.
“Knowing that new strikes and casualties are inevitable, NATO deliberately decided not to close the sky over Ukraine,” Zelensky said in a video published by the presidency.
“We believe that the NATO countries themselves have created a narrative that the closing of the skies over Ukraine would provoke direct Russian aggression against NATO.”

The problem is that of we enforce a no fly zone, we are getting directly involved, and that means we are entering into war with Russia.
They will have ZERO problem nuking us.
In a nuclear armed world it would be crazy to end up in a situation where your forces are directly confronting the forces of the other side. If you start to win, then they escalate. Think of it this way, both Jefferson Davis and Abrahan Lincoln would have been required to use nukes if they had them to limit the terrible cost to their side. No one would have blamed them. They would have blamed them if they could have defeated the other side at a lower cost in lives by using nukes if they’d had them. No one is going to lose on purpose if they can just up the ante.
I think Biden and everyone else poked the bear. On the other hand, Putin cannot allow a democratic neighbor as it would call into question Russia’s non-democratic government. So, in some way, there was no way to avoid this war, bears poked or not. The only thing that could have avoided a war at this time would be if we had a president who looked the part, who issued mean Tweets and everyone accused of being “crazy.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has to know full well that he is asking NATO to declare war on Russia. Is Zelensky trying to initiate WWIII?
Why does he not ask for more military hardware so he can do the job himself?
I guess Zelesky figures that taking out the world with a nuclear war (which Russia will win anyway, for a number of reasons), is preferable to losing in Ukraine.
I think we should sell them all the planes they want for $1. That way we are just conducting business. Maybe put a decal on the side that says “not for purposes of war”. Then we can act shocked when the Ukrainians use them to protect themselves.
Maybe well get lucky and this Soro’s buttboy will get taken out. Would love to see Biden’s money laundering exposed by Putin.
As soon as I saw his stupid demand I had this scene in my mind where this dude Zelensky is issuing these statements from a hotel suite in Miami while surrounded by an entourage of his closest advisors … having fled from Ukraine weeks ago.

......... I’m pretty sure NATO does not have the power or jurisdiction declare No Fly Zones over non NATO Nations ......
