Is Putin suffering 'delirium and confusion' due to Long COVID? Questions arise over Russian leader’s mental state after rumours of cancer and Parkinson’s disease

With the eyes of the world on Vladimir Putin, questions are being asked about the Russian leader's state of mind after he announced the invasion of Ukraine in 'rambling, terrifying, apocalyptic' fashion.

Rumours surrounding the Russian leader's health have been swirling for years, with repeated reports suggesting that he is suffering from cancer and Parkinson's disease.

On top of that, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on both the President's physical and mental health can't be underestimated, and it's been suggested that brain fog as a result of Long Covid could be impairing his cognitive function.

Although it's not clear if he's had the virus, the Sputnik vaccine is not known to be reliable and after isolating in September after members of his inner circle tested positive he disappeared from view for a long period in October.

The US thinktank The Council For Foreign relations has speculated that, after behaviour and statements that are 'off' and 'not right,' he is suffering brain fog induced by Long Covid.

What's more, the isolation caused by the pandemic itself could have left the 69-year-old even further detached from reality, with one neuropsychologist claiming the 'progressive isolation' could have led to hubris syndrome, which 'diminished his ability to weigh up risk'.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Clinical Director at Medicine Direct. Hussain Abdeh explained how a person's mental state could be uprooted by the virus.

He explained: 'Research early on into the pandemic also found that a small number of people who tested positive for COVID-19 experienced sudden behavioural changes including delirium, confusion, and agitation.'

Why should that stop him? Biden has been doing just fine with his Alzheimers fingers on the “button”! As a matter of fact, its rumored that Biden wants to pick the top #1 receiver in the NFL draft so he can catch the nuclear football when he throws it.

The Kaiser and the Fuehrer were much younger men when they started trouble.
Trouble for which, ultimately, one got pastured and the other got barbecued, along with infamy to the end of time.
We shouldn’t assume Putin, at age 69, does not realize the time limits.
Rather, he probably just wants to put Russia safely afloat before he himself sinks under the waves. Ukraine is the necessary first order of business; it is still the breadbasket and the buffer state, and it has mineral resources, and access to the sea. Without these advantages Russia as a nation state is doomed to dwindle in significance.
There being no better opportunity than today, given America’s “choice” of Biden...Putin’s actions were virtually inevitable.
Think how he’d have been perceived inside the Kremlin if he did not do this.

The old Soviet premiers used to “vacation” in Cuba when they needed health care.

If Putin has cancer, he is most likely being treated at home or the foreign doctors have a NDA which basically says talk and you die.

Joe Biden was once a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, so calling that group a “think tank” is like calling Michael Moore an Olympic gymnast.

It would be a mistake to assume this Putin would react the same way he would have 5 years ago

Trump was president 5 years ago. That's what's different.

Putin always wanted to rip the face off of the new Ukraine.

Propaganda articles like this one only fuel my suspicion that something good is happening in the Ukraine. The propaganda media accused Trump of similar all while turning a blind eye to dementia-Joe. I don't trust them. And generally speaking, if Pelosi-Schumer-Biden-Nader-etc hate something, it's usually a good thing for America.

Heh.

Who needs Alaska anyway. Just another Exxon Valdez event waiting to happen, and more beach than all the lower 48 combined, not one worth a tan in a bottle.

Anyway, 3 years is a long time. Putin may survive that long but I’m not at all sure about Puddin’head.

If I was on the same side of an issue as that lot, I’d have to sit down for some serious reflection.

OMG. How many millions of lives’ are caught between the judgment of Brandon and Putin?

On the other hand I see war damage to stores in Ukraine and noticed THERE ARE NO LOOTERS. Maybe the problem with Ukraine being corrupt isn't so much them - as it is us demanding kickbacks and 'jobs' for the drug addicted lowlifes of our white liberal 'elites'...
