The single most important thing, bar none, for every military helicopter pilot to always keep in mind, is how gender dynamics and interesectionality have contributed to institutionalized racism and the patriarchy. This is, obviously, much more important than knowing how to actually fly a helicopter. The success of our military depends on it!
I have never ridden on a helicopter. The main thing that scares me about them is that if they develop some sort of engine problem they cannot glide to a landing but drop like a rock.
