Fox News and Fox Business Network host Neil Cavuto returned to the air on Monday and revealed he had been in an intensive care unit while battling pneumonia and the coronavirus.
"I did get COVID again but a far, far more serious strand, what doctors call COVID pneumonia," Cavuto said. "It landed me in intensive care for quite a while and it really was touch-and-go. Some of you who’ve wanted to put me out of my misery darn near got what you wished for! So, sorry to disappoint you!

Vaccines depend on an immune system working. So they don't work so well on immune compromised persons like Cavuto.

However, I would gently implore him to retire from Fox.
Cavuto, age 63, and a consistent criticizer of Donald Trump, has an estimated 2022 net worth of $25 million after his years with Fox where his salary is $7 million a year. He lives in a $7 million eye-popping estate in New Jersey. We don't have to feel sorry for him dollar-wise !
His show is flat and boring....and I'd like to see it handed over to someone more conservatively / energetically-minded by the powers-that-be at Fox News ( I can dream, can't I? )
Perhaps a retirement to a less-stressful life with no financial worries would improve Cavuto's overall health. I'm sure it would. It's something we all want for him.

I’m really surprised his neurologist let him take the vaccine. A lot of MS patients have been advised not to take it.
Per usual, your post is very thoughtful and well researched. Cavuto hasn’t been energetic or entertaining for several years now. I wish him well in his future endeavors. May he choose to bid a fair fondue to Fox News in the near term.

Me too. I haven’t watched one second of anything he is on since he went on the tirade saying the HCL will kill people. They love to say that the shot kept them from dying, but refuse to look at the people that took Ivermectin and HCL that didn’t die, they can say the same thing but people like Cavuto will call them liars.

I care less than nothing about what goes on at Fox. Haven’t watched even one minute of it since 11/4/20, and Cavuto, et al., can burn in Hell. He’s a smart-ass, smug, never-Trumper.
I agree, but that is what it was. The lowest I’d seen my temperature at, for sure.
He has serious health issues so his immune response was very bad to begin with.
