White House press secretary Jen Psaki detailed how she was inspired to return to politics after watching The West Wing television show.
“In a crazy way, it really brought me back to come back to politics,” she said in an interview with actor Rob Lowe on his Literally podcast

There are plenty of problems in the writers room this season Jen. The Russian Narrative is haywire, the economic Narrative is doom, the presidents popularity Narrative fell into the Toilet......Wag the Dog....War in Europe.
I saw the headline and thought “Babylon Bee”, I am actually scared that it isn’t. When the people in government think that TV shows have any similarity to reality, they begin to do things which can only in tears.
She “returned” to politics, after what, age 12?
The West Wing was a liberal fantasy. Propaganda disguised as entertainment.
I guess it’s all Hollywood.
I’ll never forget the first time I saw Jen Psaki in action. It was some ‘national security’ briefing by the Obama admin. It was almost surreal how this person who was clearly unqualified for her job, mind-numbingly ignorant, and dumb as dishwater was actually standing before everyone pretending to do her job. Any one of them could have asked her one question off her script and she would have been completely lost. Yet, all of them just played along.
When I heard she was going to be Brandon’s press secretary, I honestly couldn’t have picked a more perfect representative for his administration. It’s like she’s the personification of the three legs of the Biden Admin stool: Incompetence, Ignorance, and Stupidity.
Honestly, I’m kind of unhappy she’s leaving. The next person might not be as perfect.
I would have guessed Pinocchio was her major influence.

Democrats of old (Truman, JFK, etc.) talked like normal people. But today’s Democrats all talk like silly children. It’s weird. And as you noted, it’s scary.

Simply illustrates, liberals live in a fictional world of their own devising. Some few elections back, there were liberals on tv who talked seriously about how the shrimp president from West Wing should maybe run and be our real president. Because he did such a good job on tv. Really.
