DHS Chief Mayorkas Strips Border Protections from U.S. Graduates
Breitbart ^ | 19 Feb 2022 | NEIL MUNRO

Posted on 02/19/2022 10:17:25 AM PST by Mr. Mojo

President Joe Biden and his deputies at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have dropped nearly all border protections for U.S. graduates, allowing a mass rush of Indian graduates to grab jobs from Fortune 500 companies, experts and foreign workers say.

“They’ve opened up everything,” said Jay Palmer, a civil rights, human trafficking, and immigration rights activist, who works with many of the foreign visa workers who are exploited by their U.S. employers. He continued:

“The administration has basically taken down all the checks and balances, and they opened the entire immigration platform for any [foreign gradaute] that wants to come in. White-Collar American graduates are going to be filing bankruptcy on their student loans.”

The flood of foreign workers — mostly Indians — across the 50-state union line is growing the nation’s already-huge foreign workforce.

That little-recognized workforce consists of roughly 1.5 million non-immigrant foreign workers in U.S. white-collar jobs. The foreign workers are willing to accept low wages in the hope of getting U.S. citizenship. The workforce is helping to push down Americans’ salaries and bid up their house prices while inflation shrinks the value of U.S. graduates’ salaries.

DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas and pro-migration deputies are encouraging the inrush of illegal white-collar labor. In 2021, they welcomed approximately 1.5 million Latino migrants across the southern border, thereby helping to reinflate the post-2000 cheap-labor bubble.

Mayorkas and DHS have announced they are opening more pipelines for foreign workers to take white-collar jobs in the United States, rolling back security checks against fraud and also shutting down enforcement actions in the United States.

The problem isn't the Indians or even DHS. The problem is the management of US companies who fraudulently boost current profits by gutting core competencies.

Don’t stop there. Management is just responding to the imperative to be cost-efficient or go out of business.

Ultimately, consumers, at least in the US, reward low prices and generally refuse to pay a premium for domestic goods.

It feels good to blame the foreigners or the corrupt politicians or the greedy businessmen. It doesn’t feel as good to blame the person in the mirror.

I realize many here probably are willing to pay more, but that doesn’t change the fact that we aren’t dealing with corruption or greed so much as good old economic self interest.

The mess that Biden and co. are turning this country into, I fear, will never get cleaned up. Not in our lifetimes, anyway.
This whole immigration debacle is not only deliberate; it’s malicious.

Indians are the most woke out of anyone because they’re careerists and will toe the line to get ahead. They only care about making money while they can.

I just had an offer to do freelance work for a respected company but when I found out my point of contact would be a woke millennial (easy to check out their social media posts), I politely declined. I would rather starve.

They only care about making money while they can.
***They are also VERY interested in obtaining that Green Card and eventual Citizenship so they don’t have to go back to the shiitehole they came from. Employers are dangling citizenship as part of an indentured servitude program. It’s disgusting.

You're right in a way: the problem is that from an economic perspective, the person who is the first or few to "buy American" puts themselves at a competitive disadvantage, unless the government steps in by restricting imports and immigration.

According to the law, the Federal government is supposed to act against unfair foreign competition and restrict immigration. In fact, of course, it does nothing because of its own political interests in satisfying the donor class and the Dem party (which has merged significantly over the past 10 years with big business).

So the proximate problem is the lawlessness of the Federal government.

I would like to see all immigration tied to the unemployment rate. The higher the UE rate, the lower the immigration.

I favor a linear formula.

Unemployment -———— immigration visas
1.3% -———— 1.5 million
1.4% -———— 1.5 million
1.5% -———— 1.5 million
1.6% -———— 1.4 million
1.7% -———— 1.3 million
1.8% -———— 1.2 million
.................

2.7% -———— 400 thousand
2.8% -———— 300 thousand
2.9% -———— 200 thousand
3.0% -———— 100 thousand
3.1% -———— zero
3.2% -———— zero
3.3% -———— zero

Send them all back...if companies can’t find enough workers to fill said gig, it wasn’t worth filling and no need to “create” a job just for some foreigner to occupy. Tired of subsidizing low-wage scum eager for a slaves wage. Let them build up something in their own $hitholes instead of turning this country into the giant dumpster they left. While we’re at it, send anyone who voted for #FJB with them.
