In a letter, signed by 37 of his Republican colleagues in Congress, Texas Rep. Dr. Ronny Jackson warns that President Biden's "mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent over the past two years," and urges the 79-year-old to take a cognitive aptitude test (just as former President Trump did).
“My colleagues and I are again asking President Biden to immediately undergo a formal cognitive screening exam, such as the Montreal Cognitive Assessment,” Jackson said.
“As a former physician to three Presidents of the United States, I know what it takes mentally and physically to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” said Jackson, who served as a White House doctor to former Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
Jackson may have a point given this recent appearance...

“Joe Biden has continually proven to me and to the world that something isn’t right. The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their president’s cognitive ability,” he said.
He is not alone in his concerns as a recent Politico poll found that 48% of Americans think the president is not "mentally fit" to do the job.
It's not just 'white supremacists' that are worried about the president's cognitive abilities, even Australia's mainstream media is picking up on it...

There isn't one. The 25th Amendment would be the tool to remove a president with cognitive issues but good luck with that one.
Republicans assisted them to cheat Senile Joe into office.

Straightforward impeachment and removal is far easier than the 25th Amendment.
And that is the problem. Democrats would rather have an idoit they can control as POTUS than someone with a brain. THe scare crow got a certificate has become real life.
I think a LOT of Americans think he should be fully tested. Many of them are deathly afraid of the likely outcome, however, given the implications of that cackling hyena taking his place.
His controllers appear comfortable in the fact they can control him and who he connects with when needed. They don’t have ANY assurance of that with the hyena. She’d be completely off the hilt....
Straightforward impeachment and removal requires 67 votes in the Senate. Not going to happen.
Biden can take the test, fail it, but that does not mean he must resign.
Perhaps the worse off he is, mentally, the more likely he’ll dig in.
One way or the other, the only way to get him out rests with his administration (which prefers him to be a knucklehead), or Congress, and Congress won’t do anything but posture for votes.
I respectfully disagree. BO is a hard leftest. I believe he certainly had help in weaponizing the Federal agencies against the American people but his dream is to fundamentally bring us down to 3rd world status. I don’t believe he is stupid or lazy. IMHO

In response to the thread title, I’m saying that these 38 lawmakers who are now questioning the cognitive abilities of Biden should have taken that into consideration on Jan 6... because they knew then what they know now.
Otherwise, the more obvious conclusion about HOW our presidents are SELECTED reveals itself for everyone to see.
How much more “IN YOUR FACE” does it get when the enemies of freedom are able to install a brainless senile pedophile OVER the most popular president in American history???
Biden even publicly bragged about how he was going to get into office, and it still happened with virtually NO OPPOSITION from EVEN THE GOP to stop the steal.

I wasn’t referring to political standards for removing a POTUS. My question was what is the medical standard that would have to be met to declare someone incopotsemento and therefore not fit for duty. I am sure there is a standard in the military to remove someone but a POTUS? We have had previous presidents in a less media hyped world get away with not fit for duty but today? It would be interesting and Jill would probably make the call.

That is a good question.
Especially considering it has NEVER come up before as a serious concern in the public’s eye that I’m aware of.
In answer to your question though, I can only assume that the medical standard has to do with self awareness and the ability to distinguish between right and wrong... but I seriously doubt that the standard (if it exists) is covered in the constitution.
The power to remove the president for ANY reason rests SOLELY with the impeachment process.
If for example, the house were to impeach Biden for not being able to talk right (lisp) and viewed that as a bad representation for America, and if the Senate were to convict him on those grounds, then the president would be effectively removed.
So... I guess the answer to your question is “There is none”
AND... At the same time.....
If Biden were crapping himself in front of the Pope, or molesting children in front of the camera, and the House and Senate REFUSED to remove him on medical OR CRIMINAL grounds, then there would constitutionally be NO WAY TO REMOVE HIM.

When it came down to the final hour... was there ANY discussion that MATTERED regarding the facts in the impeachment proceedings???
NO... it was ALL about how the Senate voted.
It’s a lot like a trial jury.
If the jury in a murder trial doesn’t want to convict someone, they don’t have to... even if they saw the perp do it.
How each representative or senator votes is all that matters... and if they have more fear of the lobbyist or DS operative than We the People, then they will vote against the people every single time.
Especially if they know their re-election is “in the bag”.
