Whoever said their weren’t? We’ve had folk training the Ukrainians for years now.

We have had about 50 Special Operations troops training the Ukrainians on the Javelin anti tank and Stinger surface to air manpads.
They were in the far western part of Ukraine.
There are no combat troops in Ukraine from the US nor NATO.
No, on Friday the State Department recommended all US citizens leave Ukraine in the next 24-48 hours.
Why did the US just order all US troops out?
Because the whole thing is a false flag operation. Putin is not going to invade the Ukraine. They are broke and corrupt. He doesn’t want the Ukraine he just wants his military port on the Black Sea which he has.
Let me predict that shortly you will hear on the fake news that there has been a massive cyber attack on the Ukraine and of course Russia will be the culprit. Or they will make sure there’s a rocket explosion somewhere in the Ukraine and say that Russia launched a rocket attack.
Anything to keep you from watching the audits of the rigged election, the depopulation from the vaxx and the implosion of our economy.
There are guys who may be involved in training and/or maintenance, in addition to liaison officers, etc.. Pretty common to have small numbers of U.S. personnel in any friendly country of significance. But there is a difference between those staff-type positions, and actual combat troops. That is a distinction that is generally considered a given when defense people are talking about this stuff.
Britain is withdrawing all troops from Ukraine.
Of course we have military personnel in Ukraine. We have embassy security, military mission staff and even training personnel.
That doesn’t mean the equivalent of a tactical combat force.

I am amazed that folks are as uninformed or ignorant as they appear to be.
Sorry, nothing personal intended, just an observation as a military professuonal with awide range of experiences regarding how these things work.
