The U.S. Army has unveiled a new climate change plan that includes an electric fleet of non-combat vehicles and a desire to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at military bases.
The woke new plan was released amid rising tensions overseas, with President Joe Biden telling Americans to leave Ukraine immediately and warning them that they could not expect to be rescued by U.S. troops if Russia launches an invasion.
The Army's climate change strategy, published in a report Tuesday, aims to make its bases more self-efficient and to move to an electric fleet of non-combat vehicles by 2035.

words fail to convey...
During WWII German tank soldiers carried rubber hoses so that they could cipher gas from other vehicles ...
The modern American soldier will have to carry extra batteries or chargers for their vehicles ...
What a way to fight a war ...
Let’s see if Republicans have the spine to reject Pentagon funding next year until these wasteful projects are removed.

Try much, much pork and boddle.
There was a time in the U.S. military when the term “battery” meant a group of artillery. Today it means a Yugo powered by 3 DD batteries. I’m sure the Communists are quaking in their boots - with laughter.
Sure…..
So will the technology.
During military operations, power, if ever available, usually goes down.
For woke optics? No...
Talk by Lt. Gen. Raymond V. Mason, deputy chief of staff, G-4
"....Besides operational energy, Mason said fuel consumption can also be a leadership issue."
"Generators in Afghanistan consume 55 percent of the fuel, powering things like hospitals, living quarters, exchanges, gyms and barber shops."
"FOBs become little Fort Hoods," he said.
Commanders need to ask themselves ""how good does it have to be in terms of quality of life?" versus using a lot of that fuel to power vehicles and aircraft."
"Mason then illustrated the importance of energy to decision-making by combatant commanders."
"There were two metrics Gen. Tommy Franks "had in making the decision to cross the berm" into Iraq, he said. "One was how much fuel we had" and the second was the supply of batteries, which at the time were in short supply." (that was in 1991, with 30 year old mil-tech)
Back in the 60s golf carts (batt and gas) and tricycles and bicycles were common onbase. Back and forth between shops ans services, guard mail etc... that all but disappeared by the end of the 70s.
You know what else went away was regular old wooden shop benches. If we were setting up shop someplace it was a load of lumber delivered and the carpenters in the crowd put together the benches and the bins, storage lockers, freight boxes, trunks... etc.
I noticed around the 80s it all shifted to off the shelf sheet metal stuff. Probably UNICORE prison industries nowadays.
I preferred the carpenter made, but maybe it was a fire hazard.
There will be woke and green blocks on officers’ performance reports.
Well at least this time when Biden leaves all our equipment behind the enemy won’t want it!
Soon Gen. Milley will be asking the Chinese and Russians for permission to make a combat decision......
Unbelievable... Guess there will be hourly agreed to pauses in any future wars to allow for recharging.
The insanity of the woke retards is staggering.
In a real conflict ANYTHING can be used as a weapon or defense, however I do not see how waiting for an EV to charge will help anyone in a rela time of need?!
