Its all over Twitter and Telegram. Riot Police and Swat teams have moved in. Fuel, food, supplies are being confiscated. Arrests are being made of the truckers in Ottawa.
The protests are in the City of Ottawa, so they and the Ottawa Police have jurisdiction

Ukraine is screwed if the Russians invades. They cannot depend on the USA or Canada to come their aid. Russia knows this and China knows this too.

I have no doubt that when they planned this event, they considered all the possible scenarios this could end with, up to and including this worst possible case scenario.
I wonder what their plans were for this.
Would pulling out and doing a general truckers strike nationwide be the better option or sitting tight, daring them to try to arrest all of them and tow their trucks, which can’t be done without the towing companies?
And what about the general populace opinion?
They have had tremendous support and this is NOT going to win the favor of anyone. On the contrary, it may push any fence sitters right into the supporting the truckers camp.
Trudeau will call in the army. The army will not act as a police force against the truckers. But they will act as transportation units.
