The White House on Friday claimed that President Joe Biden never supported coronavirus lockdowns, despite his endorsement of a national lockdown strategy during the 2020 campaign.
“We’ve not been pro-lockdown; that has not been his agenda — most of the lockdowns actually happened under the previous President,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said during the daily briefing.

Lockdowns happened because of BLUE state govs...
They’re trying to bail.
But unfortunately, they’re right...Trump was the one who permitted the first lockdowns, he wasn’t strong enough to oppose them once he realized they were wrong (after he had made Fauci de facto President), and he didn’t do enough to get us out from under this.
Biden and the gang loved it because of the power it gave them. but now that people are rebelling, they want to give it back to Trump.
Lockdowns were successfully used in China, and still are.
Have the members of the Chinese family dragged off by men in hazmat suits completed their reeducation?

Lockdowns are only effective in a totalitarian country like China. Maybe North Korea as well but that is questionable because they are not as advanced as China so they may not be able to pull it off.

On Portobello Road in London is a small apartment with a blue plaque detailing the times that George Orwell lived at that address. It is just a small flat and at the time Orwell lived there a cheap flat. Today it is very expensive.
I marveled to look up at the second floor and imagine the genius that flowed from that tiny flat.
