President Biden insisted the answer to surging gun violence was “not to defund the police” or “abandon our streets” as he met with Mayor Eric Adams and Gov. Kathy Hochul at the NYPD’s Manhattan headquarters Thursday afternoon.
“Mayor Adams, you and I agree, the answer is not to abandon our streets. The answer is to come together; police in communities building trust and making us all safer,” Biden said.

Joe Biden just said on national TV that American’s couldn’t buy cannons when the Constitution was adopted.
