“let’s call it the Pariot Party”

Let’s call it the Bull Moose Party (aka the Progressive Party) and ask everyone to forget that Teddy Roosevelt’s greatest impact on American history was electing Woodrow Wilson.

Not going to happen. Trump would never run third party. He owns the republican party. If a RINO wants to run, they can go to the third party. Trump won the last election. He will win this one as well and by higher margins.

Mike Pence is the likely figurehead to be put at the helm, and the never-Trumpers would flock to that banner.

There aren't enough 'never-Trumpers' in DC to elect a dog catcher... and certainly NOT enough in the country to elect a President.

Besides, the Republican Party IS the Party of Trump now.

Third party is for those who failed math in 2nd grade and then dropped out of school.

The rats will converge tighly behind their candidate as they always do. That will be at 47-48% of the vote. Trump cannot get 49% running third party. FAIL, LOSE!

Note: Trump did not fail 2nd grade math.

No need for a 3rd party. The coming purge of RINOs in primaries will cement Trump’s hold on the GOP. We will finally be able to drop the e.

“ The only baggage Trump carries is what has been created by corrupt politicians and their lapdog msm.”
Exactly! Most investigated person in history and NOTHING to show for their world wide state sponsored smear campaign. The only baggage is theirs.

That’s as likely as The Hill choosing to endorse Trump in 2024.

Just a democrat wet dream. The only way that a democrat can be elected President in 2024 is if the Republican vote is split.

I’m calling this BS. Trump has spent too much time rebuilding the R party from the ground up.

We still have the same problems from 1992. Except, the spending and debt has gotten worse. No republican or democrat president will fix or solve such problems.

I doubt Trump will run 3rd party. He already practically owns the Republican party. He will definitely own it with a successful midterm election in 2022.

Oh look, another article from The Hill.

That reminds me, I need to click on that “Pretty Woman movie blooper” I apparently missed.

It says I’ll be shocked.

Much as I love Trump, I agree with the author that we need a fighter like Trump without the rough edges and baggage.

I don’t think that’s possible. Real fighters tend to come with “rough edges and baggage”, because the same personality traits that make them fearless fighters tend to leave some debris in their wake. Look at Patton. He was far from being the mild-mannered guy next door, to say the least, but we wouldn’t have won the war without him.

The other thing is that every potential candidate other than Trump will be obligated to their big donors. That always corrupts them, no matter how good a game they talk during the campaign. Only Trump has the money and the stubbornness to tell the fat cat donors to get lost. And of course, he has an unprecedented grass roots base to support his campaign as well, including a ton of democrats and independents who would never vote for any other Republican.

Trump’s existence on the political scene is an indicator of the depth of our government’s depravity. If you see only one termite, a little bug spray might take care of the problem and avoid disturbing the neighbors. But once the entire structure is riddled with them the only option left might be to burn the house to the ground with a flamethrower…and then rebuild. You need to use the right tool for the job, and we have a “YUGE” job right now in trying to save the country.

President Trump cares to much about America and Americans to run as a third party and give the ‘RATS four more years. President Trump has always put America and Americans first.

WHY would Trump do that?

He OWNS the Republican Party!

These people are absurd.

I agree. Those attributes go hand in hand.

Altar boys who also fighters are as rare as the unicorn.

Why would President Trump run as a third party. He owns the Republican Party and the post 2020 Republican Party is going to a much different place
