“The GOP is a cult owned by Trump!”

“Trump is gonna ditch the GOP and go third party!”

A third party would be absolutely boneheaded and would guarantee a Democrat win.

Yep. The dems are always looking for any and all ways to split the anti-democrat vote.

Trump is way to radioactive on both sides.

Remember, he started this mess with the jabs.

Regarding your point #3, it would make sense to have DeSantis as VP so he can take the reins of this newly righted GOP wagon.

Has Trump been approached about this “possibility”? I want to hear it “from the horse’s mouth”.

“Absurd” doesn’t adequately describe how silly this is.

More 2024 nonsense to distract us from 2022 soon to possibly be stolen.

Thanks for this great reply!

It’s THE HILL.
They would love nothing better than for Trump to run third party.

What they fear the most is the RINO purge that is about to be unleashed in this year’s primaries followed by a red tidal wave in the Midterms, leading to republican-controlled state legislatures with a majority of conservatives over RINOs. These new conservative-controlled legislatures will be overseeing the 2024 election and won’t allow the Rats to steal it as they did in 2020.

That’s what The Hill and all leftists fear the most.

The only ones who should be forming a third party are the RINO traitors after they are sent packing in the primaries.

We’re at a point we have a three choices. Make a new party to push a maga agenda, figure how to get a block of states to secede, or take the war path as our fathers did.

If freepers got off our asses, picked a name and started the process to form , we could have it done quickly. Reason it won’t is none of us want to stick our neck out for fedzilla to bite off.
We tried in 2010 to weed out the establishment. It didn’t work. Need new blood, need a new party.

Utter bullcrap— this “hill” of dung is Push polling moving the pieces around the board. Perot was NEVER a republican, one, and two, perot said he was running to “reinvigorate the democrat party” AWAY from the Leftist Billy Boy Cokenose Clinton whom what few “conservative” democrats (leftover scoop jackson types?) could not stand.

The reality is that the rino constituency is disappearing (ask that idiot Bill Kristol), having taken to creating the Lincoln Project (Brigade, really Leftist/commie Beltway chattering class agit) to try to “win” the party over. Not going to happen. The hill is smoking dope.

"Much as I love Trump, I agree with the author that we need a fighter like Trump without the rough edges and baggage. With those we start with two many people who simply will not vote for our candidate. We also need someone younger who can serve two terms"

Let me guess, your first proposed magical unicorn candidate is "Mittens" Romney? Here is [withheld due to savage profanity]....

If Trump were start a new party that party would pick up a bit less than half of Democrats

You can't be serious. It would split the votes of Republicans and conservative leaning Independents while siphoning a small number of democrats. It would give the dems a huge victory, and allow them to push even more extreme left candidates that could only win a plurality.
