The word on the street is that any nominee must be at least a black woman, gay or trans is a plus factor.
I think the reason that Thurgood Marshall retired when he did was that he thought President George H. W. Bush was unbeatable in 1992 after the Gulf War. That allowed Bush to nominate Clarence Thomas. If Marshall had stayed on the court until his death, Clinton would have picked his successor.
Biden did promise to appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court. Of course he lies about everything.
“Kamala Harris.”
That would clear the way for a lot of ‘party faithful’ to get the VP appointment.

NAILED it. Breyer's only present-day utility is as a fencepost marking the bounds of a quaint old leftism to the FAR LEFT of which Bidet will pick his replacement.
He is currently trying to declare everybody not a democrat, a domestic terrorist.
This is why the Left HAD to get Biden elected.

Well, let’s just see how long the GOP can stretch this out ... although they’ve likely already ceded the seat to high-ranking socialist of the “new” Democrat Party (or Politburo if you prefer.
They could use the Dem argument, let's wait until January and let the voters have input. No sense rushing this thru before an election.

I saw the glee on the face of the newsreader babe. It must really be a difficult life - hanging on the every action of the White House, and letting one’s happiness depend on it.
