IF Russia pulls the trigger...it is most likely to happen between late February and mid-March.

“The Ukrainians have to be willing to cede territory and fall back to the urban centers and fight there the way the Chechens did in Grozny. That takes a level of disciple to accept that kind of damage to inflict high losses on the invader. Can they do that? I think they might. What other choice do they have?”

You are on to something here. May I recommend this article from the Center for Strategic and International Studies:

https://www.csis.org/analysis/russias-possible-invasion-ukraine

It is a long read, but quite fascinating.

Some interesting points: Destroying railroads in Kharkiv, opening dams to flood areas near Dnepr River, Ukraine has a 900,000-man reserve force - need time to mobilize.

“A Ukraine that is willing to fight for itself is a Ukraine worth supporting. While the Ukraine of 2022 is not a perfect democracy, neither was Poland in 1939 when Britain and France decided that their principles and security interests made it necessary to draw the line against Nazi aggression along its borders. The key to thwarting Russian ambitions is to prevent Moscow from having a quick victory and to raise the economic, political, and military costs by imposing economic sanctions, ensuring political isolation from the West, and raising the prospect of a prolonged insurgency that grinds away the Russian military. In this war, Russia might have the watches, but the West and Ukraine may have the time.”

Stop believing all the ridiculous propaganda. The Russians aren't going to invade and try to takeover Ukraine.

We're the ones that have used Ukraine to push and pester the Russians. We fomented a revolution in Ukraine in 2014. We installed a puppet leader, one that was meeting with George Soros, and encouraged Ukraine to cut off Russian access to the port in Crimea and hold up the Russians for more oil transport costs.

Ukraine is still restricting water flow to Crimea and we're still trying to undermine Russia's oil independency by sanctioning their Nord 2 pipeline.

You're falling hook, line and sinker for the uniparty and Biden narrative.

I have pondered just what/how the BIDEN FAMILY CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE might factor into this? Anyone seen anything? Lots of possibilities. Inside deals, blackmail. Will it ever be revealed? Do we need to task John Durham to get to the. Barry Obottom of this? Stay tuned.

We arm Ukraine and in a weeks time those weapons will be sold to cartel members in Mexico and warlords in Africa.

The US better think about giving weapons capable of taking out aircraft and armored vehicles to people who squandered their stockpile of inherited Soviet weaponry on the black market.

“...he’s already got job offers starting at $85K.”

Nice!

As long as they aren’t in CA that’s fabulous.

In CA, an $85k job will soon need to be a $105k job to net out the same lifestyle.

“We fomented a revolution in Ukraine in 2014.”

What is your source for this?

What is your source for this?

https://www.nationofchange.org/2018/08/15/how-and-why-the-us-staged-a-coup-in-ukraine/

US staged a coup in Ukraine – here’s why and how

Many people roll their eyes when they hear “George Soros” and think of conspiracy theories. But Soros’ own group – IRF or International Renaissance Foundation – admits in its 2015 annual report that it has spent more than $180 MILLION in Ukraine since 1990.

##

In 2013, Soros, NED and other NGO’s riled up some ordinary people in Kyiv. (BTW, outside Kiev, there were no protests. In many parts of Ukraine, people are very pro-Russia and were happy with President Yanukovych).

##

In summary, to advance misguided geopolitical goals, U.S./E.U. officials engineered protests and chaos and drove a democratically elected president out of the country. Then, without an election, new oligarchs – a billionaire and an IMF guy – were handpicked by the West to become the President and the Prime Minister of Ukraine! Democracy in action!

Conclusion

That’s the truth about the coup in Ukraine, and it hasn’t benefited anyone other than the warmongers. Ukraine is split in half and stuck in a frozen civil war; its debt-to-GDP ratio has doubled; pensions, social services and minimum wages ($140 a month) have been slashed; and the people are still ruled by corrupt oligarchs.

Thanks, at least you had an article to point to. Some on FR, just post crap with no backup.

I would point out a couple of issues with this article.

This website is FAR LEFT. As Reagan once said, “so far left, they’ve left America”.

The article provides very little proof of ANY US Gov plot to overthrow the Ukrainian government. There are claims about Soros. I have no idea what Soros did or didn’t do.

One thing we’ve learned over the years, is Washington can not keep a secret. Overthrowing of foreign governments, CIA plots, 9-11 black sites in Europe, all those things eventually come out. NYTIMES, WAPOST, some author, some Congress critter, makes it public.

With Ukraine, no such claims from any of those areas.

The article has a factual error. It states: “BTW, outside Kiev, there were no protests. In many parts of Ukraine, people are very pro-Russia and were happy with President Yanukovych”. This is factually wrong. I distinctly remember Lviv having protests and sending people to Kiev to join the revolution.

From wiki: “Citizens of Lviv strongly supported Viktor Yushchenko during the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election and played a key role in the Orange Revolution. Hundreds of thousands of people would gather in freezing temperatures to demonstrate for the Orange camp. Acts of civil disobedience forced the head of the local police to resign and the local assembly issued a resolution refusing to accept the fraudulent first official results.[93] Lviv remains today one of the main centres of Ukrainian culture and the origin of much of the nation’s political class.

In support of the Euromaidan movement, Lviv’s executive committee declared itself independent of the rule of President Viktor Yanukovych on 19 February 2014.[94]”

Here is a picture and article from Lviv in late 2013.

“Not Cowered: Lviv EuroMaidan”

10,000 people at the Lviv rally. The nationofchange article definitely has some facts wrong.

This website is FAR LEFT.

That's extremely odd considering it is attacking George Soros, who is the primary billionaire funding left-wing causes in this country and worldwide.

Soros was meeting with incoming President of Ukraine before and after Ukraine revolution in 2014. He was award a medal freedom by the Ukrainian government in 2015.

Soros along with Biden administration were fully behind the revolution. That is a FACT.

Regardless, we certainly backed the incoming government after the revolution. It proceeded to cut off Russian access to the Black Sea in Crimea. Do you really think any Russian leader was going to allow that? That national security issue for the Russians.

The people in Crimea and Donbass are pro-Russian and didn't want to be ruled by Ukrainian government that was formed illegally, via revolution. Why the hell shouldn't the people in both areas have a right to either join Russia or become independent. What business is it of ours force both regions back into Ukraine>? Yes, we've been the aggressors.

And, businesses is it of ours of Russia and Germany build mutually beneficial pipeline? It's incredibly arrogant and self-serving for us to think it is any of our businees.

We've worked to screw over the Russians at every turn because there is big money involved and special interests get big money off selling weapons to Ukraine and other nations in Eastern Europe. Demonizing Russia is great for business.

We've unnecessarily made an enemy of the Russians. And, its becoming a national security issue. Meanwhile, Biden has been paid off by and is ignoring the real threat -- China. And, he is pushing Russia into the arms of the Chinese when they could be joining us in proving a global counterbalance to Chinese aggression, both financially and militarily.

The obsession with demonizing Russia is corrupt, insane and counterproductive to national security.

nationofchange is definitely far left.

https://www.nationofchange.org/about/

“NationofChange provides a progressive platform that empowers individuals to create on-the-ground social, environmental, and economic change, one action at a time.”

https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/nation-of-change/

Its past “left” and almost to “extreme”.

We are sending 8,500 men to stop an army of 150.000. One American can beat 10 Russians! Remember Rocky? I don’t think Putin is going to blink in this one. Will Ukraine fight? That is the big Question. Putin is still positioning his chess pieces. When the balloon goes up it will be in some unexpected way—a shock and Awe Russian style. Russian army is nine miles from Kiev. This will show the world what Biden is made of.

It's straw man since the article I posted exposed George Soros' meddling in Ukraine.

Soros never, ever ceases acting in his own interests and to advance his far-left wing objectives.
