With the deaths of these three people, two not yet out of their twenties, someone finally snapped in L.A. His name is Alex Villanueva, the elected sheriff of L.A. County, where the Arroyos murder occurred.

Directly linked to the random violence in our streets, the Los Angeles homeless situation has exploded in the past couple of years despite billions spent to stop it. Villanueva is also the only official who has stepped up with any credible enforcement of vagrancy, drug-dealing, and assault laws. No matter that violence is perpetrated on and by what the leftist city structure euphemistically calls "the homeless" or "persons currently experiencing homelessness." The police have admitted that Ms. Kupfer's killer was likely a homeless person, for instance, as was the man who killed the nurse at a bus stop.

“Ms. Kupfer’s killer was likely a homeless person”

They arrested him yesterday. 24 previous felonies. He was out on bail after shooting into a car.

Sad.

We looked forward to going to LA (and SF) years ago. No more.

Methinks geology will help in adjusting everyone’s attitude there.

Saved from whom? From the LA government? From the Angelitos who voted for them?

The real question should be “Does Los Angeles WANT to be saved?”

There’s a chance we can save Los Angeles: get rid of Congress member Maxine Waters and clean up her Congressional district. That right there would eliminate a huge fraction of the crime and blight problems plaguing the city.

A sanctuary city that won’t arrest thieves unless they steal more than $750, that won’t remove a 50-block chunk of the city taken over by squatters, that wants to defund the police; No...they are getting what they want.

We could sell it to Mexico.

As a side note, why would you go around wearing a gold chain?

Some countries are just best left avoided. Two of those, for me, are Turkey and California.

The key to saving LA is to teach gang bangers to target white liberal elites where they shop, where they live and where they party.

As long as 'the elites' think it's only working class, middle class and powerless people being hurt they'll cry tears FOR THE CRIMINALS. But if they're being hit, damaged, robbed or killed they'll wake up and help STOP CRIMINALS.

So, outlaw private 'security' and let stupid gang members know they need sledge hammers... not little hammers with short handles to rob upscale jewelry stores...

I think it’s one of The Laws of Thermodynamics that everybody has to be somewhere.

Turns out, low IQ people and criminals enjoy places with nice weather and lots of people.

So, trouble making people have to occupy space somewhere.

Prisons and mental institutions cost money.

We tend to feel sorry for people who are forced to live in institutions.

Where can we put our troubling troublemakers?

Follow those billions for the homeless and you won’t find a single cent getting past the bureaucracy salaries and NGO staffs.
