I’d place that sticker there on every pump until they stopped me.
Top 8 are all Western states and Alaska and Hawaii. I’m surprised by Idaho on the top ten list.
I just paid $2.89 a gallon to fill up.
I use bicycle a lot. Need only 5 gallons of gas every month. Gas can go to $10. Won’t affect much.
I’m in s spot on the Orrhon coast that’s always a little higher than surrounding areas. Price just topped $4.
In my area of AZ I’m getting it for 3.50, if I go to Costco, it’s about $3.40.
in the PNW you get used to it
the pure gas is abundant year round at Tribal owned stations so for a few cents more per gal i can fill up with ethanol free fuel.
One of the least expensive stations in Glendale, CA, has
dropped its price to $4.33 from $4.49 a couple of weeks
ago.
We are the highest in the nation, I believe, but we have had
a little relief.
I heard last week that prices could increase more. This seems
to contradict that.
Hope it continues to drop.
I HAVE TO buy a bunch of those stickers and start “deploying” them strategically at gas pumps and in grocery stores here in Charlotte.
People here need to be reminded why they’re paying a lot more for everything and growing poorer by the day.
Funny we don’t hear Piglosi screaming about those evil oil companies that are price gouging.
They OWN this.
$3.75/gallon in Yakima.
$2.99 at Northern VA Costco a couple of days ago. 22 gallons later, you do the math.
Still, Costco is at least 20-30 cents cheaper than the local Sheetz and Wawa stores. The price difference savings pays for my membership.
We’ve still got tools to use, even when we’re being used as tools. Find the least expensive gas in your area, here:
Also - think of ‘a dollar of gasoline’ the same way you would when investing. Dollar Cost Averaging. Fill up your tank at the same (cheapest) place on the same day every week. Granted, it’s not going to gain you anything, but it’ll spread out the pain and you’ll average a lesser price per gallon over time as prices continue to climb.
I survived Carter. Just helping where I can. ;)
Depending on where you’re at in/around the Shitcagoland area, it’s $3.59/gal - $4.49/gal. Whoever put this list together didn’t do their homework.
