Senate Democrats will force a vote this week to try to change the rules and enact a talking filibuster to pass voting rights legislation, getting rid of the 60-vote hurdle.
Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced on Tuesday that Democrats will force a rules change vote once Republicans block a voting rights bill as soon as Wednesday.

He knows that he’s on video espousing the sanctity of the filibuster, right?
What you guys can’t say anything?!
Even the guy who can’t think said something!
When debating this a Repub senator should simply play back a recording of Schumer’s defense of the filibuster.

That’s all right.
The bill isn’t really about voting right.
It’s about taking RCV nationwide.

Then next time it will be another “just this once.”
You are such a fool.
“Is this guy really that juvenile? Sorry, if you can break the rule to get what you want,”
He is not breaking a rule.
They won't need to. If they manage to institutionalize nationwide voter fraud, there's no coming back from that.
If they succeed, this is the Go Sign we've been waiting for.
I wouldn’t be surprised one bit that he could pull it off.
Before the 17th Amendment was ratified, Senators ACTUALLY represented the best interests of their own state instead of the interests of Washington D.C.
Tell us what the hell it said, I’m not going to the hill. Stop being a prick.
