Former President Donald Trump on Saturday promised that he would be staging a “comeback,” his clearest indication yet that he plans to run for the White House in 2024.
He said it would be a “comeback the likes of which nobody has ever seen.”
He made the pledge at his first rally speech of the 2022 election season. He also blasted “tyrannical” vaccine mandates, runaway inflation and a national crime wave in a brick-by-brick takedown of President Biden’s first years in office.
In the nearly two-hour speech in Florence, Arizona, he piled on top of the mounting defeats for Mr. Biden: the virus still raging, the Supreme Court blocking Mr. Biden’s vaccine mandate for private employers and Mr. Biden’s agenda in its death throes in Congress.
“We’ve had more problems, we’ve had more destruction than five presidents put together in the last year,” he said at the “Save America” rally.
He also sounded off against the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, saying Democrats are using the riot to “justify an unprecedented assault on American civil rights and liberties.”

Nice to hear but if he doesn’t go in with a team of hard a##es to clean things up in the FBI DOJ and the rest of these weaponized agencies we are back to square one again
Of course not. Some people think, however, that Trump is STILL! fully in control of things, and not to get too outraged about things because he has a plan that is going along perfectly.
OK. Thanks for clarifying.
People think Trump is still in full control?!? Seriously? That’s just nuts. If he were in full control he’d be sitting behind Resolute now.
I agree with you. I love the guy and respect the hell out of him, I think he is exactly what we need, but the amount of visceral hatred he brings with him as well is just too hard to overcome now.
He is to the left what Hillary is to us, only more so. If he just would have learned to not jump every time someone baited him he would still be President, but it's not in his nature. Too many wishy washy swing voters just can't stand his style to overcome the logical consequences of what happens if they don't vote for him.
Yeah it’s all that Qanon BS he is talking about.
Not sure why he thought to counter it here when I didn’t see anything Q at all.
Haven’t finished my coffee yet maybe I missed something.
The electron wasn’t legit.
That strategy worked out so well do GWB.
“it’s all that Qanon BS he is talking about.”
Oh. Q. I’m not up on that and don’t really know what it is. Have never gone to any of the Q threads, but have commented on a few posts as I’ve seen them fly by on “Latest Posts” once in a while.

Just in time for the 2022 elections:
A document issued issued Jan 6 by the US Health and Human Services tells hospitals they are no longer required to report daily COVID-19 deaths to the federal government starting Feb 2.
The HHS document calling on hospitals to end COVID-19 death reporting was published the same day as former Biden advisors published an article in JAMA.
calling for the US government to “retire” the reporting of deaths from COVID19

Can you post a link to this please?
I don't either but he's making good $$$ and keeping his brand going.
DeSantis can't announce yet as he's trying to win Florida's gubernatorial election later this year. He needs to wrap that up first.
Ego.
They lied about icky McCain and Romney. It's their MO. Admittedly, they stepped up their game big time against Trump but he had/has much bigger support.
I'm not going to base my choice on who I think the opposition won't go after as much. Trump or DeSantis, both great leaders. The Dems will excoriate either one of them.
I’ll take that bet.
Small quibble: Trump told the truth about Creepy Joe. This is not “trashing” him. You can’t trash a guy who is already hiding in a garbage can. Pull Oscar out, and you will find Creepy Joe.
“What do you folks think?”
He wouldn’t run if he couldn’t take the heat. He’s battle-hardened and he knows that we need him.
Besides, when the mid-terms are over in 2022, he’s going to have a slightly more friendly Congress to work with in 2024.
Pelosi would be gone, for starters.

He’ll put the money where it needs to be...That’s Trump. Much better handler than anyone on earth.

Will we stick with Trumps plan for the long term? IT will be painful under Trump.
