I’ve seen more Bald Eagle in Oregon (both willamette valley and astoria) than I ever recall seing in my 50+ years. They are pushing out Osprey all over the place.

hunters here have been harvesting deer for say 300+ years in NAmerica, so if 6% reduction per year is true, why aren’t the eagles extinct?
at 0.94 reduction per year (at 6%) that a would give a half life of about 10-11 years. the eagle should have been gone 100s of years ago.

You don’t get lead poisoning from eating lead pellets.
