Dignity Health gave the green light to Covid-positive employees to return to work amid a “critical staff crisis.”
“Due to the spread and impact of the COVID-19 omicron variant in Maricopa County, and in anticipation of an continued increase, Dignity Health facilities in Maricopa County have enacted the third tier of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for COVID-19 positive health care workers,” Dignity Health told St. Joseph Hospital staff in Phoenix, according ABC15. “These guidelines allow COVID-19 positive health care personnel who are asymptomatic or improving with mild symptoms to work without a quarantine period.
"We are doing everything we can to ensure our employees can safely return to work while protecting our patients and staff from the transmissibility of COVID-19," the statement continued. "The safety of our staff and patients is always our top priority; and we have tremendous gratitude for our dedicated care teams who have worked tirelessly to take care of our communities throughout the pandemic."
While the Covid-positive employees will be required to wear an N95 mask upon returning, one St. Joseph’s healthcare worker blasted the decision.

Do those with COVID antibodies in them, but haven’t been vaxxed, get to come back to work?
Hmmmm. Probably not. After all, they merely had the CONvid and that just ain’t good enough for some folks.
I’m very curious about that aspect. It seems like if you have COVID, you can work there. But maybe if you’re not vaxxed, you can’t? Makes no sense at all — unless there’s something very special about that jab that they really want you to get and it’s got nothing to do with this virus. But ... that’s crazy talk, right?
Continuing proof, as if it were needed, that CoupFlu has NEVER been about public health.
Thus invalidating their own illegal mandate.
Yep, they need others to get vaccinated so their COVID vaccinations will work!

I spent last Wed at a local hospital. The small dept where Mrs CG had her procedure had lost Seven nurses due to resignations. The hospitals have created their own emergencies

Where we are with CDC “guidance”...
Vaxxed, sick (with “mild symptoms”), and allowed back at work.
Un-vaxxed, not sick, and fired because they are a health threat.
There’s about forty questions I’d be asking. I’m guessing HR is looking at the certification of a hospital to operate, and grasping that if half the nurse manpower is not there....they can’t run a legit licensed hospital.
I’ll say this...from my bout of Covid six months ago. For the first six days...zero chance I could have done any office work or concentrated enough with the fever part. However, maybe in this case...they are handing out the forbidden drugs and getting people back on track in three days.
Truth is these hospitals are using Travel Nursing and that cost isn’t cheap. Minimum they will pay a travel nursing company is $180/hr.
Many nurses, radiologists, etc., have chosen travel nursing as an alternative to being a staff nurse because they can get paid $100/hr or more for the same job plus overtime or even 2x and 3x pay, plus $5,000-$10,000 bonuses for completing a 3 month assignment, and many timers a $5,000 signing bonus too!
So, these hospitals are not have moral epiphanies and rehiring nurses. They are simply being bankrupted by their stupid decisions to fire their medical staff.
You can't make this stuff up.
So let me see if I have this right...
If you are not vaccinated then you are fired. The thinking being the un-vaccinated are more at risk to catch and spread the virus.
However, now if you actually have the virus - not a risk-of, actually tested positive have the virus... You can come to work as long as you are vaccinated and boosted -- with a vaccine/booster combo that has been shown to (obviously, since you caught it) prevent neither symptomatic infection nor the spread of the virus.
In other words: we will fire you as too much of a risk, but as long as you are compliant with our arbitrary demands we will let you work, even if that risk has been realized.
Insanity. Though it is a clear demonstration, in case there was any doubt, that the vaccine mandates are not about health and safety. At all.
IOW——SHAMdemic.

What I like about my P100 mask is that I can freely exhale, without a filter blocking it. I wonder if these masks are similar.
Regardless, COVID will still pass on to those around them, so keeping to the COVID area will just infect those critically ill with a differing COVID strain.
After all, it’s not bad when someone already in the hospital with one variant gets another one, right?
It's a lie, it's extortion, and it's criminal.
Not having enough workers causes a cascading failure as remaining workers quit from overwork. Organizations must stay ahead of the problem or go out of business.
At some point, patients start dying from neglect and even if there’s no alternative the medical establishment must close it’s doors to limit liability.
