Employer mandated rules excluding employees with a BMI showing they are at risk because they are too fat should be proving each week they are getting thinner with a test. That includes her fat ass on the bench.

Barrett kept asking “when does the emergency expire,” but ETS have a 6 month life, by statute. Whther or not the emergency expires, the ETS expires as a matter of statutory law.

Hopefully not a way to grant a time period extension.

To me this whole thing is about how to enable mail in voting in the end by granting a power to a federal agency that it should not have.

They will think of another way to reintroduce that aspect if this thing is upheld...

Bottom line. This is not about protecting citizens.....

In this scenario the entity hurt is the employer....

They will suffer lost productivity/profits by people not be able to work due to an illness.

Not because they are “ vaccinated” with no guarantee that , the vaccine
( which its not) actually prevents illness.

Based on posts here, looks like the USSC is going to cave to the Communist bastards..

Not so. The overall questions of the Justices don’t bear that out.

The general welfare clause gives them all an excuse.

“but there is the “mask and test option” for cover”

The Solicitor General also states there is no employer mandate. I’m hearing “if you like your dr you can keep your doctor.” You can but it will bankrupt you just like an employer opting out, or an employee going with the testing option.

About a third of new business at a buddies firm are folks fighting this. The fine print does offer testing and religious exemptions, but these requests are all being denied the first go round.

Your prediction is nothing more than betting on the outcome. You didn’t lay out any specifics.

I’m only 60-40 on a favorable outcome if you read what I posted.

When I take a bet, I like to have 75% or better odds in my favor. I’m not quite that confident here.

Barrett and Roberts were hard to read.

Your raincoat won’t keep you dry unless I wear a raincoat too.

Yes, breathtakingly STUPID, but the sheer insanity of The Wise Latina (LatinX now?) and Kagan is shameful to the USA - and to ANYONE who voted to allow them to get on the Supreme Court!

The jabs, however, do not expire in your immune system. This virus and the (so-called) need to control it at work will be long gone, but people will still have their immune system disrupted forever.

That itself is either an argument that it’s outside OSHA’s bounds, or that a temporary workplace-scope action is ok - that is, EVERYONE should be tested weekly (or whatever frequency they dictate). (Yes, I know Testing is an ineffective control mechanism here)

Rhat is a good questions… mandates keep getting extended. So she is correct, there is NO expiration!

Once government has decided it can and will do something it must go forward, otherwise their hold of power and authority in the eye of the public is questionable. Deep state bureaucrats know this. It’s dangerous to the government to show weakness against its biggest enemy, the American public stinking of Walmart and deep fryers.

LOL ... Government arguing that is has limited powers, whicle at the same time arguing that is has the power to madate vaccines.

Roberts question is silly - did the independent agencies issue their mandates in some sort of priority order? Duh, of course not.

We are well-armed “cattle” - and I believe it time to begin putting those tools to use, so to eliminate the tyrants. “Terminate with extreme prejudice” needs to be our motto from this point forward. If the Courts are determined to force death on us, then we should respond in kind.

The PTB have obliterated three of the “four boxes” that secure American liberty: they have chained and locked the “soap box” shut. For the most part, they have compromised the “jury box” as well. We can no longer depend on the “ballot box” to secure our freedoms, thanks to the rampant election fraud that the Courts and State Legislatures have allowed to go unchecked.

Therefore, our duty is clear: the “cartridge box” is the final “check and balance” Americans possess to level against against government tyranny.

Why we have allowed this feral, incorrigibly corrupt, full-on fascist government to get away with as much as they have to this point, without resorting to our last resort of self-defense, is truly beyond me to answer.

I don’t think so. If the vaccines were working, there would be no need for masks, distancing, upscale ventilation. And ALL those vaccinated people have 16/24 hours to get the virus. Even the combo is not stopping it.
