Did it finally make it up to -2? It was a lot colder than that this afternoon.
I almost need to put on a sweater when I have the cam up, it looks so cold. LOL

That’s what it says on my weather app. Maybe the fog is like a blanket. LOL!
I know....I had to quit watching or get under the covers.

The cars being encased is a problem. The trees, not so much because they don't have too much ice on them. Just enough to make them pretty.
I've only stepped out once with a bag of litter box scoopings and that was enough. LOL

They do look pretty! I hated when our last ice storm put so much ice on the trees, I literally couldn’t whack it off like I usually can. I was so afraid the branches were going to snap, but they thankfully didn’t, though trees did all over town.

I slid through an intersection in my neighborhood, so was mentally prepared for the main road...green light: do NOT proceed until sliding has stopped in all directions. I had a couple issues with sliders, but everyone was on their toes, and we’ve all been there. The sliding drivers always throw up their hands...universal, “I can’t stop”. LOL!
Third try...time out issues. *sigh*

We’ve had more ice than we got today and I’m grateful we got so little. We caught the very bottom edge of this storm system. Our temp was borderline for rain or snow and there wasn’t much ice build-up. But the streets are wet and now we have black ice.

Yikes! I was afraid the streets would be slicked up by the fog. It sounds like it was an “adventure” getting to and from your appointment this afternoon. I’m glad you got there and back safely!
And am bummed you’re having those dratted time-out issues again. What a pain!

Hey there, Allegra!
I hate ice, too, but it does make for some pretty pics. If it wasn’t so cold tonight, I’d love to go out to get some night time pics. Ice in the flash just sparkles.
But I’m playing wuss and staying in where it’s warm. LOL

Egad! Sounds like it’s going to be awhile before you can go anywhere. I hope you are well stocked on groceries and kitty food!

We’ll be able to get out and about Saturday. We’re well-stocked on food for us and the kittehs. If I run up on something we need or want, I’ll get it Saturday. Staying home Sunday because it’ll be a day of rain and thunderstorms from what they say.
Then right nippy again next week but NO SNOW OR ICE in the forecast.

Hey there, Allegra...sliding is VERY scary, at least for me. Even following the “slide” rules is scary because you never know what other drivers could become involved. And you don’t really know where you will end up.
And lots of stupid drivers...cutting in and out of traffic, not slowing down WAY ahead of intersections OR the driver in front of you, or leaving plenty of space between you and the driver in front of you when stopped. If someone is going to rear-end me I would rather not hit the vehicle in front of me.

Well, thank goodness there’s some GOOD news in all of that! I’ll bet you’re ready to see the sun. And I’m ready to see some raindrops. But no snow, thank you very much. LOL!

Good evening/morning, Mooch...how is your winter progressing? Are you getting any of the horrible east coast weather?

Well, I had a little mishap at Chisolm Trail Park yesterday. I slipped on the boat ramp and hit my left knee and ended up with this fishing lure stuck on my jumpsuit.
It didn't hurt too much though. We preceded on with the rest of the trip including walking the tall grass and the beach. It was a bit cold though.
