More than half of adults in the United States are fearful for what is to come in 2022, according to a recent Axios/Momentive poll.
The poll showed that more than half (51 percent) of the respondents said they are fearful for what will happen to the country next year, in 2022, compared to the 48 percent who say they are more hopeful.

I refuse to live in fear. God has not given me a spirit of fear. My wife and children will not be afraid of any challenge, either.
2022 is poised to be my best year.
This is the first time I’ve ever heard of a “fearful of next year poll”. But it makes sense that there is one now.
All things considered, I’m not optimistic for 2022 up until the mid-terms.
if a body is expectant that the new year will be just another serving of idiocy and doo doo, what’s to fear?
It’s actually ending right now because the Dems finally realized they’ve painted themselves into a corner this November. All they have is “Trump led an insurrection and we are losing our democracy” and COVID hysteria. Neither are working.
The use of the word “fearful” is a key to a red meat poll.
Fear is a trigger word, designed to evoke an angry response.
What makes you afraid? Who makes you afraid. Then The next question is measured to evoke a higher degree of emtotion.
BS surveys like this a just clickbait.
Amen.
Fraud will stop any “Red Wave”. Dems will capture Senate seats and expand their House majority.
I don’t fear 2022. I dread 2022.
Slow at first , then all at once.
Prepare accordingly.
Why? Biden and Harris are in charge, after all...
The poll showed that more than half (51 percent)
That would be a majority. Plurality only comes into play if you have 3 or more choices. What ever option gets the most votes, but not 50% + 1 achieves a plurality.
My point was how the web sites and TV channels use high valence words to evoke a response. Once you “see” it, it’s all over the place.
They think we are stupid, reactive sheep. All of them. Don’t fall for it.
You’re missing the bigger picture.
“ Hard to imagine 2022 being anything but abysmal. ”
****
Yeah, and I think it goes a long way in explaining why most people seem to be working at a half-azzed speed with a don’t care attitude.
My thought too. 51% is a majority.
Oh, stuff it. Republicans showed everyone how to win in Virginia. Don't run crazy people and employ an army of poll-watchers.
I’m am also in the “Up for the challenge” camp.
Happy New Year.
