Goes both ways! Right now, what evidence we have concerning ivermectin’s efficacy against Covid is conflicting and weak. There are a number well-designed large studies ongoing right nowvin various parts of the world, two in Japan a!one. I will be interested in seeing the results.

COVID-19 is largely a problem of wealthy nations. So it’s not too surprising that this isn’t really an issue in this particular place.

Ivermectin is given out in Mexico, some central american countries, some countries in south america, many countries in Africa. Even Japan recognizes it.
There is no evidence any of this India story is true. India has a very low life expectancy, about 70, effectively killing off the prime Covid targets before they can be hit.
You on the other hand are not wise, only ignorant. There is overwhelming evidence of what transpired in Uttar Pradesh. It has been available since late summer. It is available from the India government, the WHO and multiple news sources. It is not available from mainstream news sources in the US.

Some doctors, like McCullough still believe ivermectin is efficacious against Covid. Many other frontline doctors treating Covid patients have lost belief in it, and now that we have measures that really do work like MAB, have abandoned it. I had high hopes for it at first, but now that we have MAB, I’ll go that route if I get Covid again.
Ivermectin may turn out to have *some* effect — we’ll see when better studies are complete.
Ivermectin is a wonderful drug and safe, so take it if you wish. I gave it to lots of children in a few third world countries. Great stuff. But you don’t have to believe me, of course ;)

Well said. Those of us on the third side are, I hope, the “silent majority” here on FR. I admit I mainly skip over the many, many Covid conspiracy threads here because there is simply no reasoning with such people. More of us need to speak up, though, before FR becomes a mirror site for “The Daily Expose” and looks like Conspiracy Central, driving sane reality-based conservatives away.

On top of forcing people to take a vaccine, people like you want us to take a medicine that has all kinds of side effects.
Hydroxychoroquine is a different story, and I took it for several weeks when the virus first hit here. Did it help me? who knows.
I took the vaccine almost one year ago. I don’t think I’ll take the booster at this time, as there’s conflicting information out there.
