Top federal health officials warned in a briefing Tuesday morning that the omicron variant is rapidly spreading in the United States and could peak in a massive wave of infections as soon as January, according to new modeling analyzed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Late Tuesday, after this story was published online, the CDC released a statement saying the morning discussion was part of a regularly scheduled meeting, hosted by the agency, with leaders of four public health organizations. “As we are preparing for a range of scenarios with the Omicron variant, a portion of the meeting was dedicated to discussion around results from various modeling groups related to Omicron—no CDC, HHS or U.S. Government models were presented,” the statement said.
The CDC’s analysis is consistent with that of several academic groups in the United States and with data from the United Kingdom, Denmark and Norway. New restrictions have already been imposed in the United Kingdom and other countries in Europe that were seeded with omicron earlier.

If anything this sounds like a scare tactic to trick the last gullible people into getting vaxxed.

Once they realize it’s rapidly spreading, it already has been rapidly spreading for weeks prior. They are always behind the eight ball on this.

This wave of COVID will be nothing compared to the one that’s coming a few months ahead of the mid-term elections.
I knew some people that got it last year before the vax and had a rough go of it and a few that died.
I now know of MORE people who got it and have died from it this year WHILE fully vaxxed.
Statistically I’m not seeing any difference in outcomes between those who got it while vaxxed and those who didn’t.
Typically you could just say that my sample size is too small and anecdotal but the fact that Fauci and other medical leaders are pushing a 3rd and 4th booster and even indefinite shots and we’ve barely had the vax for a YEAR tells me they’re seeing the same thing.
The world’s governments have so discredited themselves it’s almost laughable to take any report seriously that’s not from a known conservative source.
