While prevention of disease itself is a positive goal, when the disease is almost always a result of continued egregious misuse of one's body by about 4% of the population, and the cost of treatment of the disease or prevention of it is placed upon all tax payers (versus help via voluntary charity), then one can ask where is the accountability?

Put another way if another consensual act, that of taking part in the Lord's supper, was the means of contracting HIV/AIDs in over 80% of new cases among men*, would the response by that of defending and promoting it, and requiring the cost of prevention or treatment for the disease to be shared by all?

Or would the response overall be that of warning of its deleterious effects, and even closing places of community transmission, while refusing to force all of society to bear the costs of prevention or treatment of the contracted disease?

But of course taking part in the Lord's supper does not result in negative consequences - unless done hypocritically.

I do not mean to be heartless or self-righteous (we have all misused what God gave us, but we must be repentant in Christ), but I am reacting to the promotion of sin and the argument by those who do so that it does not affect others.

God made man and women distinctively different yet uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them together in marriage - as the Lord Jesus Himself specified (Mt. 19:4–6) - and Scripture only condemns homosexual relations wherever they are manifestly dealt with.

Yet there is still room at the cross for all who will come to God in repentance and faith, and trust in the Divine Son of God sent by the Father, the risen Lord Jesus, to save them on His account, by His sinless shed blood, and thus be baptized and live for Him. Acts 10:36-47

The cost of healthcare insurance skyrocketed right after "domestic partner" coverage was inflicted on employer provided healthcare plans. I suspect the driver was covering for HIV treatment. The charts you cite tend to support that observation. Prior to the "domestic partner" provision, I had employee + spouse + family coverage through Kaiser Permanente for $25/month (when I started my current job 30 years ago today). Now, just employee + spouse cost $13,000+ in annual premiums for 80/20 coverage with a $6900 annual deductible.

I turned 65 in August. My HR department accepted my medical exception from the euthanasia injection. Today marks 30 years with my employer. I plan to work for them through 31 Dec 2022 assuming they can stay in business. Another year of exorbitant healthcare premiums. I'm avoiding Medicare for a year...it may be gone by this time next year.
