Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is tromping potential Democrat gubernatorial challenger Beto O’Rourke (D) by double digits in a hypothetical matchup in the Lone Star State, a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found.

The survey found Abbott leading failed presidential candidate O’Rourke 52 percent to 37 percent. Abbot has the overwhelming support of Republican voters–90 percent. According to the survey, independents support Abbott 47 to 37 percent.

Betard isn’t serious. Any adult who skateboards and falls on his face is not suited to be governor.

That means Beto will defeat him narrowly. Oh, well.
If only Americans were honest in an honest country. Not a chance.

He did cost them a lot of money, but that money didn’t entirely go to waste for Democrats. Even though Beto (barely) lost to Cruz, 2018 was a bloodbath for Republicans down the ballot. A lot of the Democrat winners credit the turnout for Beto for their victories.

That probably won’t happen this time, at least.

Robert Francis O’Roark is not in it to win it. He’s an attention slut who wants to cash in. But it is kinda nice knowing that the dims will flush a ton of money down the drain over this manchild loser.

Poor “Beto”.
The chosen one to get clobbered by Republicans every two years.

Even though Beto (barely) lost to Cruz,

After raising and spending 4 times as much as Ted Cruz
a sitting US Senator. And "Beto" still lost.

2018 was a bloodbath for Republicans down the ballot.

Except it wasn't.

I’m no fan of Abbott, but if Beta is the ‘RAT candidate, I would vote for Abbott.

I suspect he's building a nest egg for another presidential run.

I’m sorry but I do not believe those two total jerks won the George US Senate seats. Or that Trump lost in all the swing states following suspicious 2 am closed door and covered over window ballot counting sessions (Michigan,Pennsylvania, etc). I am not “cuckoo” for that.

I do not believe there will be an honest election.

Beto was close to defeating Ted Cruz, a sitting US Senator will high name recognition in Texas. A candidate so goofy and unqualified it must have been mostly illegal aliens and dimwitted young people who voted for him (legal ones).
I know you didn’t mean to ruthlessly insult me but I am dealing realistically with this unless the GOP fights really hard for honest elections with supervision. Actually the nationalization of voter fraud by the Dems is more likely.

I want you to be right and me to be wrong and I will shake your hand and tell you so.

In the mean time I forgive you for insulting me.

Yeah, that’s not because Abbott is so great - he’s OK or a little better, that’s all - it’s because the Fake Hispanic gun-grabber is SO DAMNED BAD.

“A candidate so goofy and unqualified it must have been mostly illegal aliens and dimwitted young people who voted for him (legal ones).”

You forgot the dead - that’s traditionally been a hard-core source of support for the Dems, everywhere.

I would like every state with a Republican AG to target a dozen people guilty of vote fraud, of mixed races and either sex (yeah, there are only 2), prosecute them and, when they’re convicted, ask for them to be sentenced to the highest available sentence for helping to destroy the most basic thing in a country governed by democratic principles: confidence in the validity and honesty of elections. Do that, and do it the next election cycle and the one after that...and this crap will stop. ESPECIALLY if you rope in some higher-level pols in each state. A message needs to be sent, or our form of government is finished.
