Women's sports are again under attack. Decades ago, it was due to tradition and patriarchy, with funding and attention lavished primarily on men’s sports. Title IX came in 1972, leveling the playing field. At the time, there were just over 300,000 women and girls participating in high school and college sports. Female athletes only received 2 percent of college athletic budgets and few if any women received athletic scholarships.
Forty years later in 2012, great progress was made with 3 million girls participating in high school sports and 190,000 in college sports, a sixfold increase since 1972. But instead of continued progress, our new woke culture is turning back the clock on women’s sports, all in the name of equity, tolerance, and diversity, setting female athletes back decades.
Along with news of the latest coronavirus variant and new life-crushing mandates, was a story in the Daily Mail that garnered little attention from the U.S. corporate media or women’s rights groups.
The headline, “UPenn trans swimmer, 22, sparks outrage by smashing women’s competition records after competing as a man for three seasons.”
Will Thomas, now 22, swam for the University of Pennsylvania men’s swim team for three years before taking a year off due to the COVID pandemic, with his last event competing as a man in November 2019. At some point thereafter, Will began transitioning from Will to Lia. Per NCAA rules, any trans female athlete can take part in women’s events if they have completed a year of testosterone suppression treatment.

These times were so fast that, “Thomas would have been in line to secure a silver medal at the NCAA Women's Championships, while her 4:35:06 in the 500m freestyle would have been good enough to win bronze.”

Fake news! Hollywood has told us for decades that 100lb. women can beat up 2220lb. men.
Title IX has also destroyed a lot of men’s sports. Because there is no female equivalent of football, women’s olympic sports outnumber men’s at most schools.

Seems the only libs I hear complaining about this are the competitors beaten out in the contests.
You know, it doesn’t help either when journalists go along with this charade by referring to fake women (men) with she/her pronouns.
Throw on a ladies bathing suit, say you’re transitioning, and beat the hell out of the women, but I hope the shame of being too crappy to beat the men lives with these freaks the rest of their lives.

THAT said, it is ridiculous for any male to compete in a women’s division of any sport. It is truly unfair to the women on the field.

Just a matter of time before some male HS soccer players declare themselves transgender and try out for the US Women’s Soccer Team or Olympic team...such as the ones that beat the pink haired lesbians in scrimmage games.
Hoist on their own petards the vile kneelers will painfully learn their place in the special victims hierarchy...trans trumps lesbos.
One should notice that the most vocal supporters vying for the moral limbo dance crown are those with no skin in the game...childless progressives and the rich ones whose children never play team sports because associating with riff-raff is just not done.

Sounds to me like women athletes need to form their own groups to protect their sports, since the existing ‘feminist’ groups are clearly taking the side of the male infiltrators.
Regardless, certainly not my problem.

Understand, but to me, these are the Rosa Parks of the 21st Century. People who are willing to TAKE A STAND for what is right, by illustrating just how wrong things currently are.
Probably, what’s his name (I am sure you know who I am talking about) still has his. He has his Adams apple removed, but still sounds like a male in my opinion. Also I am curious why he hangs around women. A man that likes women does.
