Author J.K. Rowling, the female author who wrote the Harry Potter series, has been outspoken in recent years about protecting the rights of women and keeping definitions of biological gender intact. As a result, she's been tagged as an "anti-transgender" bigot.
Just last week, HBO Max confirmed she would not be invited to the 20th anniversary celebration of the series, despite her becoming one of the most successful fictional novelists in the history of the world.
Most recently, Rowling faced harassment by transgender activists at her home and detailed the experience

It needs to be taken to thier homes, turning of the tables is needed

Welcome to the world you helped to make, J.K.
Serves her right - Harry Potter inspires young men to become soy boys and Incels.
The beast devours its own.
Rowling was pro-LGB, then found out she was not pro-pervert enough.
I agree, its hard to have sympathy for her since she helped birth the SJW movement.
Particularly unjust treatment from the culture she did so much to help create. Figures. The Left is disgusting. I guess making Dumbledore gay didn’t save her.
“Serves her right - Harry Potter inspires young men to become soy boys and Incels.”
How so?
“Horrific” and perverts go together. Where you find one you’ll find the other.
I saw a Harry Potter movie on TV once. There was some kind of competition going on, on flying brooms or something. The good-guy team, led by Harry Potter, had all different races in it. The bad-guy team, led by a blond, Aryan looking guy, was ALL WHITE. Now, maybe Rowling didn’t write it that way in the books. Maybe that was a decision made by the movie people. But it gives me the impression that the whole Harry Potter thing is “woke.”
I saw all the Harry Potter movies but never read any of the books. I never understood why the series was such a phenomenon. I did not find any of the stories to be particularly compelling. Didn't hate them, but didn't love them.
She wouldn’t understand this if she tried.
Celebrate Perversity or else….
Never saw one nor ever read her books. Nor will I. N
Too little, too late. Should not have swallowed the blue pill, beeotch.
You regard a young boy who goes up against a mass murderer and his gang to be a "soy boy"? OK. IMHO, he seems pretty badass.
The whole Hogwarts environment seemed pretty based to me. Young people learning about technology, while carrying tools which are potentially deadly weapons with them wherever they go.
Didn’t notice.
I think most of the students in Hogwarts were white with lots of blonds, gingers, etc. After all, it is the UK.
The movies were entertaining, the books were mediocre.
But they got kids to read which was a good thing.
Unfortunately, as Ms Rowling points out in this article, while she has her independent resources to be able to handle these harassers, others who have been targeted by such fanatics are vulnerable to the trans-mafia. Which is their goal!
