Democrats are filled with fear as they view the ominous writing on the wall of losing big in the midterms, and then in 2024 as well. Biden's poll numbers are in the dumpster, and the ratings of pinch-hitter Harris are even worse. Every day brings news of yet another Democrat congressman choosing retirement over the prospect of returning to the minority.
But not to worry: Morning Joe is riding to the rescue to lift Democrat spirits! Remember the show that always thought Trump's political demise was right around the corner? On Monday, the panel went out of its way to praise Nancy Pelosi as one of the "most successful" Speakers ever. Never mind she keeps losing her majority.
And Biden's catastrophic poll numbers? Happy days will soon be here again, assures the Morning Joe panel.

Well, they’ve been wrong on almost everything else...why change now?

Optimism erupting much like an exploding volcano, scattering ash and smoke into the atmosphere and precipitating a flow of lava, none of which is good for the immediate vicinity. Success for Nancy Pelosi is a severe setback for just about everybody else. As for the “recovery” of poll numbers for Joe Stolen, he was already damaged goods upon arrival, and there are no serious effort being exerted to refurbish or even examine the degree of deterioration that is already underway.
I’m sure all three of their viewers were encouraged.
I wish there was a rating system that graded pundits on their predictions, dead intern Joe would be pretty low on the list. Rush had an outside outfit that kept track of his accuracy rating (99% +)and the number of his I told you so were plentiful. He was prescient.
For any statistic with noisey fluctuation (such as stock prices or polling numbers) one can almost always find some time frames that will show it going up as well as other time frames that show it going down. Thus a propagandist can claim either they are going up or down according to their narrative and have some time frame to back up their claim. Expect Joe to choose some moment in a few days to exploit this fact to say that Bidens poll numbers are going up. But don’t expect Biden poll numbers to ever be very high.
Joe Scarborough lives in a media bubble. He’s polling the lackeys at MSLSD and projecting it onto general public.

“You have to quietly offer more than the manufacturer’s retail list price to get a new car.”
“Hospitals are shutting down some services including some ER’s because of mandated vax rules not being met.”
“People all over the country are losing their jobs over the vax mandate deadlines.”
“There is a lasting shame still attached to the deaths and terror in Afghanistan as the rapid evacuation was botched.”
“Leaving behind millions of dollars of our military equipment including high tech to use against us.”
“Mobs of store looters and organized shoplifters are making a mockery of law enforcement.”
“China and Russia are daring us to get into a dangerous high stakes war over Ukraine and Taiwan.”
And
“He sorta reminds me of my grandpa and it’s good to have that other guy’s tweets over with.”
