These people don’t know Wisconsin. Guns here are as abundant as pumpkins on Halloween. They always have been. Kids miss a week of school every November to go hunting with their dad. Wives hunt. And wives hunt with bows. Its crazy for those reporters from the coasts to come here and act as though guns are a new thing. We have guns, we have always had guns. And we kill few people with them. But when we shoot, we hit what we shoot at. Everyone knows how to shoot. But we have more boating deaths each year than gun deaths. Wisconsin for all its guns has few murders.

A funny thing here in Wisconsin, when we hear of a shooting. Where someone sprays a crowd with bullets and injures 10 people, the folks in Wisconsin say, can’t be around here, we kill what we shoot.

I'm 70 yo now and have a bad back and my knees are gone. I can barely check the mail at the end of my driveway. I'm not going to allow a thug to lay hands on me or my family, .....period! They aren't going to drag me out of may car or steal my money without a lead injection. I've always believed in the right to bear arms, but lately have been exercising that right. A few years ago I realized that I didn't have the strength to fight back as in my earlier years. Bullies like to attack those that look weaker they they are. If they think I'm an easy target, they will be wrong. They don't have the right to touch me or my family. Just be kind and helpful and everything will come out all right. I see older women that are attacked and their purses are stolen and nobody will help them. If she had a Hellcat strapped to her thigh she wouldn't be waiting for someone else to help her.

I'm sorry I've watched the country get to the point where people that didn't ever want to carry a gun now have to for their safety, but that's where we are now. It's not my fault that cops are standing down and thugs are released from prison, but that doesn't mean I or Kyle Rittenhouse have to allow themselves to be beaten to death without a fight.

Yep, it is the Ass Press here. Gads, this writing is atrocious grammar! Try this rewrite that would be done if AP still employed editors; "As Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted for two killings that he said were in self-defense, ..."? However, still better would be; "As Kyle Rittenhouse was being acquitted for two killings, claimed as self-defense, ...".

Note that the phrasing also conveys the implicit accusation of the acquittal being in error. This is how the LEFT 'shapes' the argument, Kyle 'said' self-defense, BUT the morally superiors of the LEFT know better.
