I'm 70 yo now and have a bad back and my knees are gone. I can barely check the mail at the end of my driveway. I'm not going to allow a thug to lay hands on me or my family, .....period! They aren't going to drag me out of may car or steal my money without a lead injection. I've always believed in the right to bear arms, but lately have been exercising that right. A few years ago I realized that I didn't have the strength to fight back as in my earlier years. Bullies like to attack those that look weaker they they are. If they think I'm an easy target, they will be wrong. They don't have the right to touch me or my family. Just be kind and helpful and everything will come out all right. I see older women that are attacked and their purses are stolen and nobody will help them. If she had a Hellcat strapped to her thigh she wouldn't be waiting for someone else to help her.
I'm sorry I've watched the country get to the point where people that didn't ever want to carry a gun now have to for their safety, but that's where we are now. It's not my fault that cops are standing down and thugs are released from prison, but that doesn't mean I or Kyle Rittenhouse have to allow themselves to be beaten to death without a fight.
