The ruling class never admits errors. They don’t care about the effect of their errors on the peons, nor do they care when we object. We just stupidly thought the US was different, but we should have known otherwise when a leading political candidate was able to blithely refer to those not on her side as “deplorables.” The ruling class was identifying itself.

We do have a ruling class.
But we don’t have a working “class” — that’s communist vocabulary. This is not 19th century England, with its inherited wealth in land. Actually, CEOs and other big moneymakers work the hardest of all.
Jeffrey Tucker was crucial in turning the tide against the tyrannical governments and their lockdowns and mask BS.

Actually we do although it is not the what most people think of when they think of "working class". People who have a job and make things are the working class from the guy at the top down to the guy who sweeps the floors. White, pink or blue collar. All working class.
Your other classes are lawyers, academics, journalist and entertainment. Mostly these people never have made things and so have no idea where stuff comes from.
That is why they have such weird ideas.
