Glenn Youngkin, the Republican Governor-elect of Virginia, will be allowing localities in the state – including cities, counties, and public school systems – to implement mask and vaccine mandates
Wow Youngkin is not even in office, and has already broken his pledege with Virginia voters.
Doing nothing about exisiting masks and experimental gene therapies is being complicit.
Youngkin is a Romney Republican. He’ll position himself one inch to the right of Marxist Democrats and not a bit more.
If you guys wanna win this war your gonna have to infiltrate the media and schools and local government like the left did
It’s a matter of degree and the perfect is the enemy of the good.
Don’t vote or vote third party; and the state wide mandate guy imposes with little we can resist. As opposed to the delegator to the local government where we can resist with much more success. It makes a difference.
One is graded “F” One is graded “C.” The “C” is way better than the “F” and we can still keep trying for A and B candidates. I don’t want an F governor in the meantime. A “C” governor is way better.
Some of you people need to decide if you like big government or not. Do you want the Governor to decide everything for an entire state or do you want to leave local decisions to local governments? Or do you only want a Governor to make these decisions if you agree with them?
Some of “you people” need to decide if you want to defeat violent Marxists who are burning our cities and ignoring the rape of our schools girls. I realize it’s easier to sit in our armchairs and play doctrinaire football. I can assure you our Marxists opponents couldn’t care less a question like that. When have power they use it. All they care about is power and control. Buy a clue before it’s too late.

Not really. Virginia turned into a nearly solid blue state precisely because of policies (immigration, bloated fedgov, etc.) supported by “C” grade GOPers. Youngkin is cut from that cloth to a “T”.

The governor doesn't need to issue mandates he has lesser flunkies to do it for him. Schools , hospitals and business are busily mandating the jab and no one is stopping them and like most freepers like yourself you are just fine with businesses doing what they claim is unconstitutional for the government to do. Pray tell me the difference in outcomes?
No the key is he will not prevent them and that is the same thing as telling the tyrants that are demanding it now, can carry on, I won't stop you.
Gregg Abbott pulled the same cr@p by declaring any school city or organization that wanted to could institute a mandate if they chose to but he wouldn't mandate it. Notice the difference in his declarations compared to DeSantis.

I agree giving an option is better, but no child should have a mask or vaxx forced upon them. Maybe this will speed up a change on school boards. I believe it will.
Virginia is a D+6 State. Texas is not.
No they don't they are the ones carrying it.
It is not a vaccine and in no way does it meet the definition before they changed the definition of what a vaccine is.
Declaring mandates by any one is not legal does not prevent anyone from choosing to wear a mask or get vaccinated but threatening a person with the loss of income and freedom should be illegal in any civilized world.
Check the news in Australia and Austria to see what the future holds for the meek.
This will speed up a change with the local school boards. There has already been progress made. More people will become involved now.
