well his seems to be allowing companies/schools to continue mandates with out the liability for the vaccine mandates. Yes let them mandate all they want. and like OK require them to pay $1m ( should be $5M or $10M ) to pay when the vaccine goes awry. This is not about mandates it is about not forcing the liability that goes with the mandates. Companies are exempt.

He’s behaving as a believer in subsidiarity and federalism ought. If your local government wants to impose such draconian restrictions, have at them or vote with your feet. It’s the American way.

My first instinct when I see someone being thrown under the bus like this is to read the actual statement in its full context - that reveals who the trolls are.
But a lot of FReepers just read the headline and the comments… sad.

Same as the OSHA Covid-CCP mandates were never laws and were never legal.
Mandates are what Kings and Emperors put out. Not Republics and democracies.
